I am a man of many interests and motivations: Husband, father, musician, graphic artist, helper of those in need, and comic book fan all wrapped up into this one traveler on a spiritual journey.

With my art/crafts I endeavor to reflect more than one of my interests.

Book arts

Street art: spray painting (images not tags), markers, mailing labels, stencils.

Old paper: from school text books, maps, invoices, etc. I like it when people have written notes in the books too.

Old images: photographs are fine but I like the screen or plate printed ones better.

Sharpies: normal and wedge tip are my favorite but I'll use the fine tips on occasion.

I've been using ink and acrylic paint lately.

Any kind of paint I can get a hold of.

I like to use Gesso in my art. Some times as "white" paint. I like the texture it leaves.

I also like ink. India ink and the like.

I've done block printing and screen printing just not very often recently.

Wood planks. Not too big. I use 'em for collage and such.

I love to cook! I work part time at a family, not mine, owned local eatery. I always look forward to going in for my shifts, except for Sunday brunch (I mean who wants to get up and prepare food for picky church people... oh, well they've got to eat too). Its an American restaurant serving steaks, fish, sandwiches, inventive salads, pasta, local ice-cream, and home made desserts like cobbler.

Right now I'm really into Asian style foods. Home made sushi- rolls, nigiri, and te-maki. Stir-fries. My wife even bought me a bamboo steamer! I've got at least four Asian cook books that I regularly pour over gleaning all that I can.

My wife and I both love pasta as well. We enjoy creating our own tomato sauces. Let me tell you fire-roasted tomatoes add so much flavor.
