I have crocheted on/off for 20 years and recently in the past 3 years have gotten back into it on as an obession. I print out possible project, have loads of stash and am working on 2/3 projects at a time.

I love to crochet, dance salsa, go to outdoor festivals and be with my grandchildren. I like to container garden, unique windchimes(deep tones).

Let me say that when it comes to yarn I can say, I see yarn, I buy yarn, I have too much yarn (if that is possible, not) especially when on sale (I could use this later).

I mainly crochet at this time. I do a little Tunisian, but, right now I am making dresses for Barbie's out of thread. The dress being the Puerto Rican Flag. I made a Bride doll for my cousin for her wedding and I am really proud of it. Like to do shawls with intricate patterns. I just learned how to knit after trying to do so for a lot of years.

I love salsa, merengue, all types of latin music. I also enjoy classical, jazz, blues. Absolutely do not like country western, heavy metal music.

Right now, I am into DWTS and House Hunters Intl. I can't travel at this time, but, that program takes me where I would love to go. I just started watching Storage Wars (YUUUUUUP!!!). Also, SMASH has gotten me hooked.

Any color will work as long as the combination of colors are complimentary. No oranges, lime green together and pepto bismal pink or pastels. I prefer more earth tones, jewel tones, and softer yarns, bamboo, cotton,alpaca, softer wools. Also am a threadie. Please no yarn from smoking enviornment or really old yarn. wintuk or yarn colors that were popular more than 10 years ago. I have never been able to have the luxury of working with art yarn since it is so expensive. One of these day, I will splurge.

I used to collect Betty Boop memorabilia and have too much stuff. One of these days I would like to get the gumption to just sell it all. It was an obsession.

Lately, I have been into funky frogs (for my garden and desk at work) and tropical parrots (for my yard amd desl at work). As I go to thrift stores on my rounds I started being attracted them. And of course being weak as I am (lol), I have been seeing more and more. Sooooo, I now collect frogs and parrots.

I have been thinking about doing some mosiacs lately. Maybe this summer when I am off work I will attempt to do something. I love doing intricate things.

My all time favorite movie is West Side Story. Dirty dancing, Havana nights, any movie that is musical, a good comedy, and of course, chic flicks. I like Tyler Perry Movies, Madea is absolutely hysterical. Movies with a plot and I like period movies and a good message, I hate movies that are all noise and no story, violent movies, horror flicks and I am not fond of slapstick. I also like watching Spanish languaged movies, without subtitles.

Dollar store yarn, Big Lots yarn, any yarn that is really cheap looking. I can't do anything with it at all. It doesn't take a lot of money when you buy on sale like I do.

I usually put a lot of effort in every swap that I participate in. I try to get or give something special to my partner.I give things that I would like to get myself and DO READ PROFILES for ideas. However, lately those who have been partnered with me have been sending just "stuff". I find that it is very unfair and have seriously thought to give that person a lower rating. I give 5's if it is postmarked by the deadline date, but, I am no longer going to do that. I will be rating on the effort that I feel has been put into the exchange.
