About Me
Hello! My name is Lauren and I am 21! I am a lover of all things hand crafted. I have always felt that DIY projects have much more meaning than store bought gifts. I work at a preschool and I love it! My students are the light of my life. I am attending college to get my degree in Education. With that being said, I enjoy anything teacher related! ( shirts size Large, tumblers, note pads, school supplies, stickers, etc) My favorite colors are teal, soft pink, and gold! I am also obsessed with monograms. If I could have everything monogrammed I would! (LKC) I would describe myself as someone who is very girly! I love flowers, butterflies, and everything sweet! I adore vintage/antique finds. book pages, old photographs, old jewelry are a few of my favorite craft items!
Favorite stores: Hobby Lobby, Michaels, Joanne's, Dillard's, Kohl's, Wal Mart, Forever 21, JC Penny
Favorite Items: All craft items! (Ribbon, washi tape, mini clothespins, fabric, etc), Pens (gel pens), High lighters, Markers, Sharpies, Paint brushes, Cute socks, Nail polish (pinks and reds), note pads, Bath and Body Works products, Essential Oil products, Make-up
Hobbies: scrap booking, painting, wood art
TV shows: Once Upon A Time, True Blood, Orange is the New Black, Finding Carter, Friends, Vampire Diaries, The Originals
$1/ dollar store finds: When I am at the dollar store, I like to buy note pads, any type of school supplies (college student and preschool teacher), stickers, nail polish (pinks), craft supplies, and loofahs I am not too picky. I usually find a home for all of my little odds and ends eventually. However, I suppose we all have our preferences. Here are a few items that I do not particularly care for: Tea, black licorice, bugs, sour candy, satanic-evil creatures, kawaii, and rude people

Hello I hope this reaches you having a Happy holiday season! I used to work at Dillards i loved it the other employees were so awesome on top of the employee discount :) i also have started watching orange is the new black i am way behind though! i love binge watching things on a day i have free. Of your favorite stores list there are a few I agree with you and Joanne's, Kohls and Penny's are my favorites also. I also noticed that you are a fan of washi tape too. I have found the places by me do not carry alot of washi tape. Choices are pretty limited here. Even though washi tape is a recent discovery for me I am already loving it. Goofing off is always fun.

I have just started watching Orange is the New Black so it was nice to read that you like it as well. Friends is also a favourite and I want to start watching it from the start again since I really think that I have missed a few episodes over the years. I like that you like hunting around at the $1 store, I like doing that as well and you can always find some great stuff there. I actually have found my deodorant there for cheaper then supermarket price. Amazing that you are attending college to get your degree in education. Because I went to university this year and I have started studying for my degree in Education which means I can teach kindergarten and primary school. I have a few aunties who are teachers, two primary and 1 secondary. My course is for 4 years and I hope you are enjoying it as much as I am.
