I am a SAHM to an amazing little boy with special needs. He is my reason for living! I honestly believe he has taught me so much more in his young life than I could teach him in an entire lifetime! He is now 14 and has Autism/Aspergers and Developmental Delays. He was completely non-verbal until only a couple of years ago. But with a lot of time, hard work, and LOVE, he can now verbally interact with the world. ❤️

When I'm not busy with my little man, I am an avid crafter, advanced crocheter, internediate knitter, beginner sewist/quilter, reader, and amateur artist (my favorite medium is watercolor). My favorite past time is shopping for yarn and fabrics! I am also a true crime junkie and I love to listen to court trials or true crime audiobooks while crafting. I recently started learning how to "slow stitch" and I am really enjoying it. I have got my hands on some vintage linens and lace snippets that I am dying to utilize in a slow stitching piece.

My favorite books are true crime and psychological thrillers, however, I don't necessarily stick to just those genres, and I am always open to book recommendations!

My favorite music is classic rock (The Doors, Aerosmith, Steve Miller Band, Kiss, The Eagles, etc.), and 80's hair bands (Motley Crue, Def Leppard, Guns n Roses, Cinderella, White Snake, etc.). My son's favorite music is Top 40's so we tend to listen to that mostly at home, but when I am alone in my car I am able to rock out to my favorites!

I was born on February 11th, I am 50-something lol, I am an Aquarius, I have a 12-year-old 4 lb "tea cup" Chihuahua named "CiCi", my favorite colors are pink and purple (Amethyst is my birthstone), and I love anything sparkly!

I LOVE tea, and I love to try new flavors. I still enjoy a cup of coffee every now and then (especially from Dunkin Donuts - which happens to be my son's FAVORITE place....I even nicknamed him "Donut" lol), but tea is my ultimate comfort drink. I can't think of anything better than snuggling in my favorite chair with a hot cup of tea and a good book or my current project.

I absolutely LOVE birds and I am licensed to rehab injured and/or orphaned wild birds in my local area. We don't have any at the moment but Spring has just started, so it won't be long before we have a couple of guests to care for!

I was a participant in many Redditgifts exchanges until (sadly) they shut down. I was having withdrawals until I came across this site! I can't wait to swap with you all!!
