Hello! I’m Marin!! I just found out about this websight on youtube and it looks so fun! I’m a community college student who is majoring in Astro-Physics and has like 10 more years of schooling left give or take about two years. I love to sing, make art, watch movies and anime, and read. I’m a fan of Harry Potter, books by Tamora Pierce, Studio Ghibli films, and The Wandering Inn. Some of my favorite colors are Blue, Green, purple of the cool variety, and not in my face pink. I can’t have Coffee so I love to drink Tea and Hot Chocolate. Some of my favorite types of tea are Black teas, Green teas, and Herbal Teas. I love to learn about religions from all over the world, my own religion is more of a DIY what feels right spiritually religion, and with nothing like a Bible or Quran, I take inspiration from other religions.(These last few facts are not an invitation to send me little bible quotes and verses. These tend to instantly bring my mood down a lot because of past experiences. Although if it is a part of the swap specifically or we become pen pals I'm not against discussion).

I like most music except for hip hop and rap (with exceptions because I'm not heartless). I really like Peter Paul and Mary, The Mama's and the Papa's, general 80's and 90's music, classic rock, and soundtracks from movies games and shows. I have a record player that I love to get random records from my local record store to explore what I like and dislike more. There is one record about popular music from WW1 and I really like it, random? Yes! Also I've found the recordings of trains very soothing.

I love Fantasy books, Detective books (mystery), Science books and Historically Inspired books (also regular history books). I'm getting up the courage to try to write a book, I've had this story line in my head for years and I've finally started to really not chicken out because honestly I keep adding to the world in my head to make it believable/real. Wish me luck.

Detective/mystery shows/movies are a big hit with me. Some of my favorites are Bones, Ghost Hunt (an anime), and Nancy Drew (haven't seen them all). Anime and Anime movies (not all of course) some faves are; The Place Promised in Our Early Days (this one you can find free on youtube highly recomend english dubas pretty good haven't watched sub for this one but its just amazing and has great soundtrack), Only Yesterday, From Up on Poppy Hill, Mushishi, Hikaru No Go,Chihiyafuru,Psychic Detective Yakumo, and Ayatsuri Sakon. Fantasy of course is also a genre that I enjoy with Narnia movies (old and new), Game or Thrones, Harry Potter, and Spongebob of course (we all know it's not really fantasy and inspired by some real life marine biology and history.) enough of this topic I believe that people can probably pick out a show/movie I would like now.
