Hello!

A friend of mine recommended this site, and I just had to check it out. I've been a member of various sites like Swaptree and Gothauctions, where we do various swaps every so often, and I can never get enough of them!

A little about me:

~22 years old

~Born and raised in California

~I'm married to a Canadian as of October 9, 2011.

~I dress a little on the darker side :3

~I have one tattoo and want more! No piercings.

~ I have three cats that live back home with my mom.

~I've also adopted a border collie/jack russell mix puppy named Kiwi! She's the love of my life

I've been in love with Rammstein ever since I heard their song "Engel" when I was twelve. A short while after, I found their CD at Walmart (of all places!) and quickly grew more and more fond of them with every song I listened to. They inspired me to embrace the German in me, encouraged me to take German classes throughout high school, and I hold them near to my heart now more than ever. I was able to attend their concert in Oakland in May 2011, and it was one of the happiest nights of my life.

Other than that, I love Ludo and listen to many other bands such as The Killers, System of a Down, Blue October, Franz Ferdinand, Mumford and Sons, Queen, Johnny Cash, Fleetwood Mac, Emilie Autumn, Johnny Flynn, Black Keys, Weird Al, the Beatles, Florence and the Machine...

I don't really stick to certain genres. When music is good, it's good :] And I'm always open to suggestion for new stuff!

Mostly fiction and a lot of YA. I will read just about anything I can get my hands on. Pretty much as long as it has a good story, I'll enjoy it. Some of my faves are Watership Down, The Hunger Games, the Wicked Lovely series, Cirque du Freak, Harry Potter, The Art of Racing in the Rain (I CRIED at the end ;[), and so very many more... I absolutely love to read :]

I'll watch just about anything. I love comedy, though I can't stand the dumb/outrageous ones (Scary Movie, Superbad, etc). I LOVE musicals!

Some of my favorites are: Rocky Horror, Repo! The Genetic Opera, Kill Bill, Harry Potter, The Emperor's New Groove, The Prestige, Inception, Across the Universe, Robin Hood (Disney animated), The 10th Kingdom, Merlin, Chicago, The Devil's Carnival, Django Unchained... and many, many more :]

I don't watch a whole lot of TV. I do, however, like to rent/purchase/Netflix TV shows and watch them.

Some of them that I've recently watched (and loved) are LOST, Nip/Tuck, Weeds, Dead Like Me, The Riches, Venture Bros., True Blood, Dexter, Heroes, Flight of the Conchords and The Walking Dead.

I'm completely OBSESSED with Adventure Time and will love you forever if you send me anything to do with that!

Though I haven't done it for awhile, I like to draw and color, and more recently I've taken a liking to journaling and decorating matchboxes. I'm trying to find more paper crafts to get into. I like to sew, mostly cute little things made from felt. I also bake/cook a lot, so I love to get new recipes and ideas!

-Anything Japanese or German.

-I also ADORE Toothless from How to Train Your Dragon^^

-I love Disney things, and prefer less popular movies (like Hercules, Robin Hood, Mulan... ), and especially the villains.

-Adventure Time, Pokémon, and My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. Don't judge me ;p

~Since I'm recently married, I'd like to have some His/Hers, Mr./Mrs. type things. I think they're cute :]

~I love makeup! I don't tend to stick with any specific brand, I'm really open to trying whatever. I'm also open to any and all colors.

~Spiders, Frogs, Monkeys, Pigs.

~Velvet fabric, Gold Jewelry.

~Earrings/body jewelry. I don't have any piercings so I have no need for them.

~Candy with peanuts/peanut butter in it (my Husband is allergic). I also don't like hazelnut flavoring. I hate black liquorice.

~Anything cherry scented/flavored. (The only exception to this is cherry blossom scented things.)

~Anything to do with religion or sports. I honestly wouldn't know what to do with it.

~Holiday decorations/cards/items in general EXCEPT Halloween OR if I'm in a specific swap for such items.

~Beads of any sort, or fabric scraps. I have SO much of this stuff kicking around, I'm sick of seeing it! Haha.

When it comes to candles, perfume/body spray/lotion/etc... I'm really not picky when it comes to scents. I adore floral scents, and love fruity ones as well :] I'm especially fond of gardenia, vanilla, raspberry, cherry blossom...

~I've recently become addicted to Scentsy, so I would love to get some bars of all different kinds of scents! So far the only ones I really didn't like were "Midnight Fig" and "Titanium", and any of the cherry scents.
