Misshazzard

Hi there! My namie is Jamie-Lynn. I am the CEO of a charity organization, a writer, a homesteader, and a small business owner living in the Northern California foothills. I have a black German shepherd named Vader, who I adore. I also have chickens and a French lop rabbit named Cadbury.

I collect lots of stuff, antiques, vintage holiday decorations and decor (all holidays!), Horror and Halloween related items, juicy couture charms, oddities, and tea cups and tea pots.

I like vintage and vintage inspired stuff, items that are farm or homestead related, horror related items, sparkles, cupcakes, flamingos, vintage circus/carnival stuff, traveling, unicorns, cryptids, mythological creatures, the colors aqua, pink and mint, Books, Grimms fairy tales, vampires, mysteries, things related to gardening, polka dots, damask, and ponies.

I enjoy being outdoors, especially forests or at the beach. I love gardening, both flowers and vegetables.

I love all kinds of tea, but especially herbal and floral blends.

I love horror, fantasy, classics, and mysteries! My very favorite movies of all time are Alfred Hitchcock movies. Vertigo is my number one! Some of my favorite non Hitchcock films are The Shining, Harry Potter series (Griffinclaw here) How to Marry a Millionaire, Dracula, Bell, Book and Candle, Trick r Treat, The Goonies, Star Wars (specifically the characters Han Solo, Boba Fett, Phasma, Ewoks and Porgs), Willow, The Ghostbusters, Alice in Wonderland (all of the older versions, but not really the recent Johnny Depp version), The last Unicorn, True Romance, In the Mouth of Madness, Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, Neverending Story, Wizard of Oz, Labyrinth, Creature from the Black Lagoon, and The Maltese Falcon.

I don't watch much TV but I do have a few shows that I LOVE! They are, in no particular order:
X-Files, Original Star Trek, True Blood, Longmire, Game of Thrones (House Stark for life!) Supernatural, Twilight Zone, Stranger Things, and Gilmore Girls

I love reading, and do a lot of it! Some that have stuck with me are: The last Unicorn, The Bell Jar, Moby Dick, 20,000 Leagues under the Sea, Harry Potter series, Interview with a Vampire and the rest of Ann Rice's Vampire Chronicles, Dracula, Frankenstien, The Illiad and the Odyssey, the Legend of Sleepy Hollow, Angry Housewives Eating Bon Bons, The Walt Longmire series, Alice in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass, The Secret Garden, Watership Down, Silence of the Lambs, Tuck Everlasting, Flowers for Algernon, Catcher in the Rye, Black Beauty, The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe series, The Southern Vampire Mysteries, Lord of the Rings series, and pretty much anything by Poe, I enjoy a lot of Heather Graham mysteries. Lots of mysteries, and fantasy, especially anything with supernatural elements.
