ABOUT ME

Hello! I live on 10 acres with my husband, our two wild and crazy boys (2 &4 yo), the sweetest border collie in the world, and a flock of chickens who lay brown and white and blue eggs. I love to garden and my garden this year is like cottage garden on steroids - the marigolds are under the tomatoes, the fennel towers over the peppers, the pumpkins are climbing a teepee for the boys to play in and the chamomile and calendula has self seeded everywhere! I love it!

THINGS I LIKE

Gardens! Pretty postcards and stickers and ephemera of flowers and gardens, and anything herbal. At last count I have over 30 different herbs this year, I have loved herbs the best since I got my first lemon balm plant for my 12th birthday. Unusual seeds or pretty seed packets would be awesome.

Knitting! I always have a project on the needles, currently a lightweight cable and bobble delight out of kitten soft alpaca-cotton-merino. I really like natural yarns, and have even dyed wool from black walnuts, goldenrod, mint, all plants from our land. So anything to do with yarn would be fun, but probably harder to find!

JOURNALING

I had always kept a journal - until I had babies! Then it fell by the wayside. But I miss it and want to get back into journaling. I love to paste pretty things on the pages; magazine cutouts, ribbons and lace, gorgeous stickers, even recipes!
