I am in graduate school working on my Ed.D. in education and at the dissertation stage. I teach as an adjunct at a small University in South Carolina and hope they hire me full time soon. I have fallen in love with teaching at the college level. I sew to help with stress and started my business - daisylanedesigns.net - last year. I have 2 crazy dauschaunds and an even crazier roommate, who is a nurse.

I like alternative rock, classical, christian, gospel, bluegrass - almost anything but hip-hop.

Since I have been in school I have not had a chance to read much for pleasure. I just buy the books I want to read when I get through with school. I love mysteries - the silly ones- not the gorey ones. I love the ones about the cooks - can't think of the name now. Also an extreme Harry Potter fan!

Survivor (I love Rupert!), amazing Race, NCIS, anything HGTV

I am a crafter from birth and will try anything once. I have done welding, scrapbooking, crotcheting, needlework, rug hooking, sewing, jewerly making, cooking - you name it I have tried it.

I collect frogs (rain forest frogs are my favorite), angels, antique textiles and handkerchiefs.. I like unusual things and items from other areas of the country. I like postcards and am starting a collection of handkerchiefs with the state map and name on them. I want to make a quilt from them. Chocolate always makes me happy - the darker the better. I am very easy to please !

I don't like creepy crawly, morbid or pagan things although I do like goddesses. I have an allergy to perfumes and strong scents, esp. the bath and body works kind. I wear khaki and blue or red all the time. I like quirky but not teenagey (I don't know how to describe. e-mail if you have questions)

My kitchen is light yellow and I use apples and teapots to decorate. My bedroom is done in pastel pinks and blues with a lot of quilts. I like antique girly stuff in the bedroom. My bathroom is yellow with lots of flowers, esp. tulips. Livingroom is in transition. I am going to use burgundy roses and stripes in linen. My office is pretty much anything goes. I love storage containers and unusual glass jars to store things in.

I am girly without being frou frou (if that makes sense) I like shabby chic and chippy white furniture. I love soft things and comfort. I love to pamper myself and am addicted to soaps and lotions (but not with a strong smell.) If you have any more questions, just PM me.
