Greetings! I'm Norma Sue. I grew up in Southern California north of Los Angeles. My first pen pal as a child was my Great Grandmother who lived in Alberta, Canada. I resumed this childhood hobby as an adult after more than a decade of infertility and two miscarriages compelled me to search for a simple solution to that emotional trauma. I needed something to look forward to. A surprise in the mailbox seemed like the perfect pick-me-up.

Some of my professions, passions and hobbies are: writing novels, fine art and illustration, both traditional and digital media, reading, planner Journaling, stickers, amateur gardening, ancient languages, singing, music, piano, and arts and crafts. Greek mythology is my favorite and influences my writing and art. I also enjoy studying and learning.

We adopted a baby boy in 2020. He is the joy that takes up most of my time and energy, and reminds me every day to be happy and that every song is a good dancing song! Creativity plays a big role in my life. My toddler loves to help me in the studio. Like all children he is very creatively prolific. As an illustrator, I am thrilled with the prospect of designing postcards featuring my original artwork. I love collecting original artwork as well. You can see my work at www.normasueoneil.com.
