Just a quick note. I have been off line for several days now due to a family emergency. I will be sending out the missing email swap that I have this weekend. Sorry for the delay, but my mom has had a major set back.

I live in Hot Springs, AR, home of the Razorbacks.

I have one dog (Basset, Buford) and one cat (I mean Princess), her name is Peaches.

I have two children, a son and a daughter. My son lives in Hot Springs also. My daughter lives in Waco. I have 3 grandchildren, and assorted granddogs and grandcats. We don't discriminate between two legged and four legged children.

I have a wonderful husband to be, and we live on Lake Hamilton in Hot Springs.

I love to fish, read, swap, and collect various items.

I love all sorts of music. I especially enjoy gospel, zydeco, classic country, classic rock, and some classical.

I like to read light hearted funny books, I don't think we can ever laugh to much.

I like funny movies, the more I can laugh the happier I am.

I like to watch any true crime shows. I don't watch a lot of TV, but I do watch some videos on youtube. The prices you have to pay for cable/dish are way overpriced and I tend to want to spend less money and spend more time doing things that might be more rewarding than watching TV.

I like the older shows that I grew up watching such as: Flipper Gunsmoke Andy Griffith Lone Ranger Lassie You get the idea....lol

I like to find simple inexpensive crafts that I can do with my grandchildren. Small sewing projects and paper crafts are great. After all they are only young once.

I have recently started to volunteer with a Pet Therapy group with my Basset Hound. We are certified to visit nursing homes, head start programs, and day cares. I am looking into hospital visits also.

I love to shop! I tend to frequent garage sales, thrift stores, antique shops and flea markets. I am a coupon hunter-nothing liking making a good deal better!

I love to recycle, reuse, or upcycle anything and everything I can come up with an idea for--and alot of ideas others have come up with! Any one have any good ideas--bring them on!

I like doing fall crafts with my grandkids....I have recently found some really cool things to do with them. Just haven't had a chance to get them over to the house for a few hours.

I like to cook, bake and make a mess...lol. I do a lot of cooking/baking for my granddaughter's fund raisers. I didn't know it would be so much work and yet so much fun. I have ventured out and done a few things I have not tried before like melting chocolate and dipping things in it. Boy, I got carried away with that one!!

My favorite color is RED-all shades of it-and any other deep fall colors.

I love animals--cats, dogs, horses, just about all of them.
