I am a 30-something Australian who had her first pen pal way back in primary school when a friend moved to the other side of the city, which seemed like a million miles away back then. I found crafting (paper and beading) back in my teens and did decos, slams and fbs for quite a few years (I do not have any plans on going back to those so I would appreciate not receiving any.) It has been an on and off thing ever since. Off only because I would get tired of having no space to do it and having nowhere for things to dry as the pets would always knock things down or walk all over it.

I have recently moved and for the first time in my life I have a dedicated craft room. The room is quite small but it is all for my crafting and I will hopefully never live somewhere again that does not provide a spare room for crafting so I never have to stop again. 🙀 It also means I will be making a return to my YouTube channel once I finish getting this place set up and have time for editing videos (I loved video editing, although my skills were basic.)

Aside from crafts and mail, animals, music, coffee and though I do not go much these days musical theatre are my life blood.

Despite it not being big in Australia, my favourite time of the year is Halloween and I have never been happier that TKMaxx came to Australia last year and supplies me with the best Halloween homewares that I have ever been able to buy here. I need a money tree come Halloween time. 👻😻

I am not religious and would prefer not to receive religious things.

I love inspirational quotes (like those ones you often find in those planner sticker books that the large craft/planner companies put out these days.) I have a whole Pinterest board dedicated to quotes.

My first love will probably always be paper based things - scrapbooking, project life, junk journals (although I do not use junk and make them from scrapbooking paper and various stationery and art papers etc) - this is my number 1 love at the moment, Midori type covers and inserts, journaling - art and normal written and then the various paper craft happy mails (ie flipbooks and pocket letters.) not to mention just standard letters on pretty paper. I have a major weakness for stamps.

I have also dabbled in the planner craze over the years but my memory is too good and my life not busy enough to really require a planner. I have more sticky notes than one ever really needs in their life. My sticky note obsession has faded away, by the pen obsession is still strong. I have recently started trying fountain pens and aim to work on my lettering (my handwriting is horrible) in 2019.

Now that I have a craft room beading will make a return, but this time I suspect it will mostly be for journal charms.

Tim Holtz and smash books are actually what brought me back to crafting in my 20s.

My favourite colours are pink, purple, light blue (like a really nice sky blue), teal, aqua and the non-colour black.

I am not a fan of green, unless it is nature related (i love the outdoors, but hate bugs and insects)

I am also not a huge fan of yellow unless it is flower related.

Favourite animals Cats (this is the first time since I was a child that I am not living with at least 1 cat) Butterflies Seahorses Rabbits Pigs

Music My music tastes are pretty much stuck in the 90s/early 00s, and I am mostly pop, that pop-punk alternative stuff. I hate putting things into gentes. I also liked 90s country (a lot of that pop-country cross over stuff) and 90s rnb and will still find myself listening to those every now and again. My longest serving favourites would be: Garbage Tori Amos No doubt P!nk Simple plan

That does not even scratch the surface though - I use to have 100s of cds.

My movie and tv show collection was pretty decent in size too. I like to have a variety of things to watch - some funny romantic comedy types for when I need something like and some special effects ones cause I like seeing special effects I guess. These days (well I do not have a tv at my new address yet) but before I moved I was really enjoying a lot of those American renovation shows (going to Magnolia, Waco Texas is on my bucket list.)

My love of music and theatre also means I am a little obsessed with New York, LA and Nashville - all bucket list locations. Lodnon’s West End obviously also makes an appearance but my heart has belonged to the USA since I was a kid.
