Hi I'm Wendy,

I love creating and try and make time to create something everyday. I love shabby chic, vintage, elegant & classy and clean & layered. As you can see I love creating a lot of styles. I'm 43 years old and I've been creating since I was 15 from sewing, ceramics, card-making, painting and paper crafts. Now my biggest passions are card-making, altered art, mixed media, soapmaking, drawing and doodling. I take a lot of time to make my items and put a lot of care and thought into them. I've been very blessed to have taught card making and have my work published in an Australian card making magazine but these days I don't focus on these but instead love creating to share in different ways. Share though gift giving, selling and swapping. I'm really looking forward to swapping with people who appreciate the time and effort it takes to create my pieces and to put a smile on somebody's face when they receive some happy mail. I am very much looking forward to receiving happy mail.📬

MY FAVE COLOURS:

💗 Light/bright aqua, pale pink, black, any other pink, blue/green colours (turquoise for example).

💗 I love Stampin Up cardstock my main go to colours are Pool Party, Crumb Cake and Pink Pirouette. Not necessarily all together :) 😘

I've learnt to love all colours of the colour wheel but theses are my favourites. So I'm happy to receive any colour items but would be super excited if it included at least one of the colours above :)😍

OTHER THINGS I LOVE in life in no particular order (except my family, they're always first). This list should hopefully give you lots of ideas on what I'd like to receive :) This is not a list of the things I only love nor what I expect to receive but hopefully gives you some good ideas. If you love creating a particular style and it's not on my list that's okay because I ❤️ when time and effort is put into something and are also very aware that it's near impossible to create something that's not you. Knowing you had fun and put effort into what you made me will make me happy.

📺 TELEVISION - I don't really watch telly these days but if I do I enjoy lifestyle shows like home renos. I've just found the show Arrow and have managed to watch two seasons in a very short period of time and so excited they are filming season 3. Love love this show 😃😍

🎥 MOVIES - my go to these days would be romantic comedies. Anything to make me happy and I'm for it. But don't really watch any atm

📚 BOOKS - I love to read different genres but my faves are romance (modern and historical) and fantasy - fairies, werewolves, vampires.

👎THINGS I DONT LIKE👎 :

👎Receiving packages that haven't had been given much thought:

I put a lot of time and effort into my swaps so I'd really appreciate something made with some time and effort back. I don't expect anyone to make things like I do but showing me you have put thought into my swap will receive a heart. Don't forget the internet is full of ideas and many simple ones that look awesome. I especially love deco envies. I don't mark down if your style is not mine. For me it's time and effort to sending me something thoughtful and when I give hearts. A note to say why you made what you did is a lovely touch and I'd love it :)

👎STICKER SLAPPING - adding stickers is okay if you add extra work with them. So many choices - doodle, paint, collage, cut pics from junk mail, stamping, embellishments. Look on Pinterest for ideas if you need help. To me sticker slapping doesn't show any care went into what you've made.

👎 Wiccan 👎 Tarot Cards 👎 Sunflowers 👎Spiders 👎 Tea of any kind 👎 I would appreciate if you didn't sent any religious mail, thank you for understanding. 👎I would appreciate nothing used or dirty or out of use by date (though I'm sure you wouldn't send those things anyway to a fellow swap botter!).

💗 If you have awesome things in your stash and would like to share and they are in great condition then please share them with me. But please no junk. I chop and change constantly what I'm making and what style I'm doing so one off things are right up my alley.

🏡FAMILY & WHERE WE LIVE🏡 - in eastern suburbs about 30mins from Melbourne Australia in the leafy suburb of Heathmont with my hubby, two gorgeous children Will 13 years and Bella 7 years old and my three little dogs - 🐾 Bluey, 🐾Amy and 🐾Puppy

👦👧FOR KIDS SWAPS 👦👧-

👧BELLA loves pink, girly, princess monster high, crafty items, cute animals, glittery. She does Calisentics.

👦WILL loves Minecraft, Spiderman especially comics and movies, his xbox 360 and PC. I didn't put him down for this current swap but I know he would really love some happy mail but he's trying to be a "cool" teenager :) so if you could add something for him he would appreciate it, thanks :)

Work - currently don't work due to chronic health issues but am a qualified Primary School Teacher and Beauty Therapist. My creating daily is my saviour from chronic health issues. I guess I should say I'm a stay at home mum as even though my health is not the best I'm always there for my hubby and kids. If there's two things I can only do in a day because I'm not feeling the best is be there for my kids and craft, the rest can wait for another day hey :)
