i like the taste of red wine. the look of vintage shoes. the smell of cooking cupcakes in my kitchen on a sunday . the purple of afternoon storms. and the sound of frogs in the drain pipe in summer.

i collect old suitcases, 50's aprons, things found on the side of the road, discarded shopping lists, polaroids of shoes over powerlines and anything owl or pony related.

i day dream far too often, have not completely grasped the concept of time or money management and still climb trees.

i have a kite i have never flown. a pair of shoes ive never worn and a couple of books i never seem to get to the end of.

im messy, lucky and always hungry.

band of horses, tv on the radio, portishead, mercury rev, the eels, presets, laura marling, bob dylan, yeah yeah yeahs, bjork, the postal service, the frames, fleetwood mac, the strokes.

anything with real meaning i respect.

my all time fav band is radiohead if that helps in the judging process.

my degree was fine arts film. i want to be a director of photography one day. i make music videos for local bands think up vast schemes involving pinhole cameras and ballerinas on wind swept beaches.

my fav directors are jeunet and wong kar wai.

in the mood for love is my favourite film.

i dont really watch television i feel like im wasting precious time. but i am a sucker for a david attenbourough doco. theres something about that voice that just calms me.

i got all my well-read friends to give me their top 5 list of books recently and im slowly working through some amazing pieces of literature. i just finished 'the alchemist' and im half way through 'the time travellers wife'...both i recommend.

any book recommendations are always welcome!!!

but i guess if you really pin me down id say i do film for a living so thats my best medium. but i dont like being in a box so don't keep me in there for long please.

my friend and penpal darius. public transport conversations, coincidences, spilling ink on my carpet, getting lost at night, tasting something for the first time. cracking eggs perfectly. smile wrinkles. old people holding hands, second hand book shops, really old trees...

i dont like plastic stuff.

don't usually like pastel colours. unless you really do, in which case id love to see whatever you'd like to show me.

i dont like things with no effort included. id rather a daisy snatched from the teeth of the wind than an expensive designer handbag... unless of course you snatched it from the teeth of the wind, then i could make an exception...

not really into anything television related.

oh and im an atheist, so anything religious would be wasted on me sorry.

favourite scent is cinnamon.

favourite colours are purple, gold and earthy tones.

favourite things are anything quirky, vintage, pretty, inspiring or pre-loved. anything 1920's - 80's.

favourite places in the world are Paris (which ive lived in for a little while) and New York (which ive never been to but have fantasies about all the time - mostly involving me sitting out on a fire-escape of an old apartment sipping red wine and listening to sirens)

i love anything handmade. raw. real.

ok so i dont expect anything along these lines but if you are feeling extra generous and want to blow my mind here are my sizings...in Australian terms.

tops: womens size 10. bottoms: size 10. shoe size 6 (think thats 36 1/2 - 37).

American terms: top: size 6 bottom: size 6 shoe size: 36 1/2

but when in doubt send. i have the ability to figure out new ways to wear things that don't fit me perfectly, normally this involves off the shoulderness or safety pin action.
