I am a single mother to a 14 year old, grade 9 boy. I work in the legal field and enjoy my job, my friends and family. Originally from Northern Ontario Canada, I've called Southern Ontario home since 1989. I like the simpler things in life, spending time with my son and friends. We share our little house with a hamster, two rats, and two "Puppy-Monsters", as we call them. Life is never boring, that's for sure with two chihuahuas running the house like they're the boss!

I love classic rock music. Anything from the '70s is constantly being played in our home. I currently own and admin a Led Zeppelin tribute page on Facebook with over 392K members. Along with that, I have taken my passion for Led Zeppelin to blogging. I have interviewed Led Zep tribute bands from all around the world and share the love of Zep with everyone. I have tried to expose my son to all sorts of music, but have made sure he knew of those classic rock bands. We share special times going to concerts. At 10, his very first concert was Robert Plant. Later that year, we went and saw Jeff Beck. Last year, we went to see the Rolling Stones. I also enjoy more current music, Canadian bands of course, Tragically Hip, Tea Party etc.....but my heart is always with the classic rock bands.

My favourite authors are ones that make their career in the horror/suspense genre of writing. Stephen King, Ann Rice, Clive Barker to name a few. Who doesn't like a good horror story right?! :)

I do enjoy the good biographies as well. Being an avid music fan, I've made sure to have such books about the Stones, Doors, Zep on my bookshelf.

Much like my fave books, horror movies are my favourites. The classics still make me jump to this day. Who doesn't remember the first time they saw Exorcist, Jaws, Texas Chainsaw Massacre?? lol

A friend and I enjoy settling into a dark movie theatre, with some popcorn, ready to be scared silly.

Not being too much of a couch potato, I do from time to time like to watch a good tv show. Recently, I've been hooked on The Following, Under the Dome, and even crime shows like Criminal Minds, CSI (Vegas) and The Good Wife. I gladly take music over Tv any day though.

I've always enjoyed making crafts with my son, since he was young. He has become quite the little artist himself, having his works in museums and on display as well. I love to bake, make cookies, custom cupcakes. My son and I will make candy skewers, fruit skewers for events as well. I also like to paint, make little things out of household items. Hallowe'en time is the best. We like to make decorations, fun displays to help give that extra treat for the trick or treaters.

For over 12 years, I've collected anything I could on those yummy little chocolates.. M&Ms. I've done a lot of shopping on Ebay for dispensers that I can never find in Canada. Every year, during the holidays..Easter, Christmas, Valentines, Hallowe'en I always make sure to pick up a little M&M. I also like to collect music items...tiny guitars, keychains, coasters etc. Can't forget the tiny little blue guys..Smurfs. I even managed to get my son into the habit of collecting Smurf figurines. I do like to receive Post Cards from friends around the world. I don't mind if they are written on, stamped etc.
