Ghost ornament swappers: so excited to see everyone’s ideas! If you are stuck or want to try a different style or challenge, some ideas are I love old book pages or light academia style themes, edgar allen poe and classic english goth horror (picture dorian grey, dracula, etc), typography stamping, vampire fangs, anemone flowers or any flowers in the my fave color scheme, books, ravens, potion bottles, light green or whitish pumpkins these are just a couple ideas that would fit with my tree if you want to branch out. The color scheme for my tree is black, greys, cool neutrals, pale vanilla white, greyer whites, and bright white, mauve and eggplant purples and olive greens and sage greens. These are just ideas if someone wanted to break out of their box or wanted to try something themed and is not necessary, just ideas, I will love whatever is handmade and swapped! I know I personally like trying to do different themes to cater to my swapee and like to try new things and different styles, so if you want the challenge feel free. I can’t wait to see everyone’s unique style as well.

Mail: I live in the boonies so only pick up my mail about once a week. I do have access to a drop box but the mail guy doesn’t come out here everyday. If your envelope isn’t posted for the deadline and is off by a day it is probably because it was sitting in the box and hadn’t gotten to the post office yet.

Historical period fiction and fairytales! Just finished the wheel of time which is a great series if you haven’t read it.

My favorite author is Anne Rice and I love vampires, her vampires especially because they all come from different time periods and she did a great job with researching that time period and giving a historically accurate portrayal of the period.

I also love gothic classics and british literature like Picture of Dorian Grey, Frankenstein, The White Woman, Jane Eyre etc. Not into normal horror, a little too scary.

Love chuck palahnuik, tom robbins, sarah j. Maas, and am up for most books in general especially cozy books and fantasy romance.

Art anything art I love art it is one of my greatest passions. My current obsession is watercolor but I also paint in acrylic and oil and trying out gouache this year.

I also love journaling and pen-paling and love stationary.

I especially love items created with white, black and text/typography, warm and grey neutrals, and stamped inks or calligraphy, floral patterns if not bright, patterns with no bright colors or with colors less saturated.

I love dark and light academia aesthetic and dark romantic goth and cute witchy vibes along with dark cottage core and pastel goth. I also secretly love kawaii pastel things, shhh cause it’s a secret 🤫! I do love receiving kawaii themed mail sometimes it is very fun to get letters inspired by it that others make. I won’t use kawaii extras u leas they are cute girls but will pass them on to penpals. I will always appreciate getting black and white kitties and cute girls, foxes, and witchy things like stars and moons, homey cottage house and landscapes, plants, and ghibli, harry potter.

I collect bones and natural objects and would love my house to look like a natural history museum and library. I love insects specifically moths, butterflies, bees, and beetles. Currently getting into bug pinning and embroidery.

I love the colors eggplant purple, black and white and grey, dirty colors and jewel tones, mauve, dark teal and olive green. I love dark florals and black and white illustrations. I also love rose gold, copper, silver, and pewter metallics.

Love vintage papers and illustrations. Love stamping and collaging mixed media letters with illustrations and flip books.
