July 17th, 2023: I'm really sorry everyone, I have been slow on rating. I had three surgeries on my nose this year, and the air quality because of the wildfires has been giving me killer migraines and I have not been on my A game. Worse, I looked in my mailbox and there was a stack of letters because I forgot to put stamps on them. I'm so very sorry. I will be contacting everyone affected tomorrow, and please forgive me.

2023 is giving me a wild ride. It's 3:30 am EST on July 25th, 2023. Last week I had emergency surgery on my stomach. I haven't been able to bend or sit up. I live alone, but my amazing work husband has been helping me. This is one thing he couldn't do, and with the meds I couldn't remember the name of the site. I'm so sorry everyone, this has been wild. I'm going to take a nap and I'll be right back.

I am a mother of two and a published author. I am also studying to be an elementary school teacher. Looking to make friends as well participate in some amazing swaps!

I practice the art of tarot and oracle card reading. I also love history, especially Anne Boleyn. I always try to act for the greatest good. I am a very open minded person. I also enjoy studying psychology. I pretty much love learning anything, but I am going to school to be an elementary school teacher.

I also love animals, especially cats and penguins.

I love to study, especially foreign languages.

I also love reading, and have been doing all kinds of needlework since I was in diapers. I'll be your best friend on trivia night, lol.

I like to learn about different peoples and cultures. I enjoy trying to see things from another's perspective.

I write and journal all the time. I am definitely a list person, and like to look at things positively (but with a sense of humor).

I am Catholic, but also very spiritual. I love hearing about other faiths (as long as you aren't trying to convert me, lol). I firmly believe all faiths can learn a lot from each other, and I like promoting that.

I advocate for the mentally ill and disabled.

I would really love to find a pen pal who would like to work on a language exchange through snail mail.

Two things I'd like to add: I'm very open to discussing faith and spirituality as long as we are sharing and not trying to convert each other :). However, I do not like discussing politics. People just get too angry, and I like to help keep people in a positive place.

Also, the mail kind of sucks where I live. If you don't get something from me, PLEASE MESSAGE ME. I will replace it immediately, and with any luck the original will show up at some point too, lol. I say this because I have only now received many swaps that were delivered to me. Please don't think I'm ignoring rating, I will rate the same day I receive, I promise!

I can do needlework of all kinds, but I am partial to knitting, crocheting, embroidery and quilting.

I also love building models and music boxes.

I would like to try my hand at ATCs. I am excited to learn new things here.
