My name is Trinette. I have been trading ATCs since January of 2016 using Facebook and Instagram.

I am a mom to one rambunctious girl, wife to one sweetest hubby ever and human to two cats.

Right now, I make art and occasionally decide to clean the house or go work outside. When my analytical brain rebels, I work on financal thingies or boss around my large extended family.

At what I consider to be too darn young, I had to have knee replacement surgery. Art keeps me from climbing the walls and wringing the neck of all the monkeys.

I am type aaa. This means that I turned in all my homework, exactly or more than what the professors asked for. Bosses love me because I get things done. I am never late to a doctors appointment or my kid's school events.

On the other hand, I make it a particular point to wear sweat pants whenever possible. I do not make my daughter brush her hair, and I do not buy my husband's clothes. I am an individualist. I celebrate it in others too.

If you do not receive something from me, it means it got lost. If you message me, I will not ignore you, because I consider that to be extremely rude. I try to always be kind, especially to people on the internet, because my mother taught me to be polite.

Atcs. Hand-drawn, hand-painted and collage. I usually trade like for like.

Postcards. Hand-made. Star Wars. Art. Portraits. Anything cute. Colors. Anything. I love the written on side the most and the picture is a perk.

Collage art, especially abstracts that focus on color and design.

Portraits. Especially whimsical and low-brow.

Zines. These are new for me but I am obsessed with studying them and I want to make them.

Paper. Painted, vintage, unique. Maps. I use them as neutrals.

Other people's art joy.

I love whimsy. Especially portraits. I collect faces.

I love color... with purpose.

I love design.

Anything Star Wars, ghibli or Harry Potter because the heros and villians are so well done. I love hero Archetypes. One day, I will write a thesis.

I love art that shows me the other person's style.

I love words, letters, numbers. Book pages have been known to make me salivate. Yes.

Anything that empowers women.

I enjoy being emphatic, especially in person. Exclamation points are my form of hand expression. I can swear, but usually will use Utah interjections because I prefer not to offend people.

I am not into dark things. I have a pessimistic soul, it does not need to be fed. However, the color black is awesome!

I don't care for stickers. Unless they are on your postcard written side or your envelope. Then, I love them. But only if they go through the mail.

I am not into holidays or religious things. Unless it's Halloween. I love Halloween.

Really don't enjoy Dystopian anything. Except that movie with Denzel Washington. But not the rape part. That could have been left out.

Spelling. Loathe it.

Favorite TV

When I was a kid, our father removed the TV from the house. For years. This means I do not get cultral TV references from the 70's and 80's. When I was old enough to get my own TV, I discovered that I am a compulsive channel changer. To this day, I am not a TV watcher. I loose interest quickly. However! If I watched TV it was:

• Star Trek - old and new, except that one with Scott Bakula. No bueno.
• Farscape.
• Firefly.
• My daughter loves cartoons. She only gets to watch them if I will watch them. So, lots of those. Except if the kids are jerks. Then, she doesn't get to watch.
  She is into Wakkfu, Sherman and Mr. Peabody, Vultron, Digimons, Teen Titans, Young Justice League. / She also loves Minecraft.

Books

Lots and lots. If you can't watch TV, you read. I still read obsessively. I will typically go years on a single genre and then can't be bothered for several more years. Right now I'm into english mysteries in a series, historical mysteries in a series, some urban fantasy and historical romances.

• Star Wars.
• Harry Potter. I enjoy series because of the character development. Kids growing up is fascinating.

• Star Trek, old and new.
• I hate drama.
• I run screaming from scary movies. Hate them.
• Those movies that love to recreate current events, yuck.
• I have a funny sense of humor. I don't like most comedies. Because they are not funny. However, Princess Bride. The funniest movie ever! Terry Pratchett. Hilarious.
