Hi!

Me: tiny, kawaii, dangerous, artsy, caring, progressive, ally, carnivorous, asian, west virginian, hippie punk rock, art teacher, painter, graphic designer, maker, wife, mother of 2 really awesome girls. Cardigans, tattoos, musical theater, patterns, papers, delicious savory foods. That kind of sums it up, but not really.

• Food! I love foods! New and exotic foods (I'm a foodie and I fear nothing).
• Punk rock, unique tattoo aesthetic, rockabilly, pinup
• Traveling, sight seeing, local histories
• Weird and quirky, off-beat or unusual, strange and beautiful (yo gabba gabba, wes anderson, baz luhrman, yoshitomo nara... are just a few examples of visual styles I like)
• Alice in Wonderland (not specific to the newest movie, but more so the book and all artistic interpretations)
• Fashion, pretty clothes, grandma-style cardigans and accessories, and chunky funky accessories
• Teals, pinks/magenta, and a combination of both, mustard yellow, chartreuse, and all kinds of beautiful color pallets and combinations
• Music is life - live music is everything. Musicals!!! + Jack white, Arctic Monkeys, Postal Service, Tenacious D, Freddie Mercury, Jeff Mangum, Flogging Molly, Ben Folds, Blink 182, Weezer, DMB, etc etc etc. And I love discovering new music!
• I'm getting into tarot and I'm really good at reading lenormand cards. I made my own deck and keep it in a little cigar box that I've filled with incense and herbs, tea candles, runes made from shark teeth, and crystals!
• also starting to get into D&D but have never played lol!
• My two sister tuxedo kitties, Freddie Mercury, whose name changed from Mercury to Terkury to Turkey because she's so fat, and Mr. Meowgi

If you haven't received anything from me several weeks after my send date (of course, allow more for international), PLEASE let me know so I can resolve and resend! =) I'll do it!

I always put 110% into what I send. Please be considerate and try to do the same :) I don't care at all if you're not a great artist and I'm really not picky about the types of things that I receive! but I do appreciate at least a little time and effort =) I would rather have thoughtful items sent closer to the deadline then something thrown together and sent early!

That said, I very much understand that everyone's tastes and styles are different and I always rate fairly and usually within 48 hrs of receiving an item.

I'm really not picky at all--I love getting all kinds of things in the mail (as long as it's thoughtful and well put together of course :) )! See above and If you need some additional direction, here is what makes my mailbox happy:

• thoughtfully handmade items
• anything fun! I like bling and glitter sometimes, super cutesy/kawaii sometimes, big bright patterns and colors, puffy stickers, shiny things, googly eyes, etc.
• quirky! If it's quirky, offbeat, or flat out weird, I'll like it. Think Wes Anderson, Yo Gabba Gabba, Superjail... google and like :)
• lots of stamps and/or unique/fun/pretty stamps, if possible
• I am not easily offended. I like cute but I also like dark ~ I enjoy pinups, oddities, goth, weirdo, bones, macabre, occult, etc. as much as the next gal :)

I like all sorts of postcards. Even those generally considered free or crappy. I prefer stamps--lots of pretty or unique stamps, postmarks, and something (anything) written on the back. Otherwise, a postcard is a postcard!

General likes:

• big letter/large letter postcards. They're so cool looking! Google for pics
• map postcards
• handmade postcards
• weird or quirky or funny postcards
• historical and/or geography-specific (cities, states, countries, landmarks, etc.)
• If you don't have those, any will do :)
• if possible, tell me about you and/or the place where you live and/or about the picture on the postcard. I don't get to travel as much as I used to so I love learning about places and their people through my postcard collection

I hate to add this category, because I'm generally happy to receive anything that meets swap requirements, but for the sake of my profile...

• sloppy/thrown together/no-thought-or-care-put-in swaps. I'll love anything, highly artistic or not, but please spend a few moments on it before you send!
• tea. I'm just not a tea drinker, but if you happen to send, I'll happily gift it to a friend :)
• i'm not a huge fan of thank you cards. There are tons of pretty ones but I don't use them. I would be able to gift them to a friend if I ever got any though :)
• anything that has the look of precious moments. i'm not crazy about it--unless it's super weird and awesome, in which case i'll probably like it
