I am on post crossing as most countries are.

My average time for mail varies.

I will resend snail mail if you contact me after 3 months. Please acknowledge the fact that snail mail is unpredictable. In the end, if you threaten a low rating, I can even send with tracking.

I save all the snail mail I send as images, and even take photos of outgoings at the letter box/post office.

If I join a swap, I will always send before the swap-bot deadline according to the swap-bot clock.

While I am not poor in my country, take into consideration that in my country, there is not much variety as you are used to. So 'store-bought' is often a missed luxury for me. It simply is not available, even in the most posh of stores.

So to all my hosts and partners, please be understanding of the gap between developed and developing countries. Both in availability and postal service.

I love crafting nonetheless. And hope, that my background will not hinder the process of a fulfilling swap.

Lessons learned (from personal experience) :

People like extras.

Some people like less moving gifs /images.

Some people like washi and stickers on the message side of a postcard.

The polaroid box set was a flop for hearts here.

If you don't get a heart, ask for feedback and let it go. It's not because of you.

be clear you are asking for feedback, not hearts

Don't participate in 1-day turnaround swaps.

People with 4.99 can have a lot of low ratings. So keep 4.99 minimum and lower only if needed.

Do not allow total low ratings more than 5.

Some people are not willing to help. They might lash out.

You are not wrong in expecting a rating when you KNOW it was fulfilled.

Some members have a blind 'holier-than-thou' attitude here. It's not a welcoming atmosphere in the main forum. Newbies beware before posting.
