Living in Groningen, in the north of the Netherlands, with my husband and two sons (14/15 yo). And our rabbit Tony. I work as a nurse at our University hospital in town where I run the daily business of the infection diseases department with my collegue.

When watching tv I like series like House MD, NCIS, Criminal Minds and Outlander. Further more I love cooking shows such as Masterchef Australia.

When it comes to movies I like to watch Harry Potter (books as well..), Lord of the Rings (book as well), Avenger movies,.. Sometimes funny comedies and most certain movies like Up, Ice Age etc.

I like to crochet and recently started knitting. With crochet I make amigurumi, blankets, shawls. Working on a temperature blanket at the moment. In knitting I like lace shawls and I am learning to knit Fair Isle. It is truly amazing. I started postcrossing a few years ago because I love to get snail mail and it's very special to find cards from all over the world in my mailbox!! Furthermore I like geocaching. Having found over 600 caches in several countries, and some trackables moving about.

So what do I like...

I like food!! Not much that I do not eat.. I like candy, love liquorice (as real dutch girl..), chocolate, crisps, nuts, you name it.. Besides that I like things that are about food, such as recipes, recipe cards, postcards with pictures of food or recipes on them.

I like tea and coffee. Hard to send coffee though but when it comes to tea I like spicey teas, black tea, fruity teas, well, almost any tea. Just not too fond of the herbal ones like chamomille or other flowers..

I like nice scents, such as lavender, vanilla, cinnamon. This may be used in candles, scented bags or soaps. When it comes to soap btw, Lush has very funny stuff!!

I like postcards, I am on postcrossing as well. Love cards sent naked.

I like crochet/knitting patterns. Though these are found easily on the internet. Favourite colours are night blue, petrol, moss green, dark red, rust/copper, gold.

I like flowers, especially red poppies, lavender and cornflowers, candles (normal and scented), and herbs and spices from foreign countries (cinnamon, kardamom, vanilla, ginger,..).

I do not like anything religious, so please do not send any religion related things. It will be thrown away.

Colourwise I don't like taupe, "army" colours (don't know what they are called, the brownish-greenish colours).

No allergies to anything here.

Sad to have to mention this, I already had 2 people who didn't send their stuff...
