I rate based on what the swap is about...not how many extras you put in. Don't get me wrong-I LOVE extras! I'm in a swap because I want to swap that item, and that's what I rate. I'm not stingy with hearts but I do like to see effort put into the item being swapped. I never send off anything I do not like myself-it may not be your style, but sharing our own art is what swapping is about. If you are going to be late swapping-that is NOT a biggie with me-I am late sometimes too. Let me know it will be late," I will notify if I am running late; I will NOT rate you down because of it. This is not a life or death situation! I rate as soon as I can after I receive my swaps but get behind on that sometimes.I would never rate you without communicationg with you first, hopefully you would have contacted me if there was an issue for you that affected the swap.

I send out all my swaps as soon as I can, tho frequently they will go out on the deadline date. I do alot of swaps, here and elsewhere. I have a bad tendency to overextend myself, I am trying hard to curb that tendency. In March 2012 my mom was hospitalized 3 times-all serious problems-I spent most of that month with her. I worked on atcs as I could, but I was in about 20 swaps at that time, and the bottom really fell out at SB for me. I did complete all my swaps, but they were almost all late, one was 2.5 mos late. It was a project I did not want to rush, and I didn't. I won't rush job something just to meet a deadline. Some of my partners were very gracious and understanding and gave me 5's, God Bless them!!! Others felt they should give 3's d/t the lateness of arrival. Such is life. I am now going slow and working to see how high I can get my rating back up to! PLEASE CONTACT me if there is a question. I collect a PLETHORA of things! I would be SO happy to receive actual postage stamps on anything you send to me! One of the Oddities I collect are Cat Whiskers! I do NOT pull them out-they shed them every once in awhile and I pick them up - I have 8 cats.

COLORS: teal; fushia; jewel tones; bright yellow; dark green-hunter; lime green. I do NOT care for neon colors. NOTE TO INTERNATIONAL FOLKS: I would love any cancelled stamps,newspapers, even junk mail in your language thrown in with what you send me-as in Wrap it in them!

I am a multi-crafter: Scrapbooking, Altered Art, Mixed Media, Gourds, Knitting, Felting, Embroidery(have a machine), Sewing, Card making, Lampworking(the art of glass beadmaking), Beading&Beaded Embroidery, Polymer Clay, Stained Glass, Quilting, Glass art and would love to try many others. I love fabric (&paper)flowers, have made beaded dolls, just got a Quilling Kit, and have lots of supplies for lots of crafts! I love to learn new things!

Favorite Books I love to read-murder mysteries is mainly what I choose, tho I have alot of Craft-related books, and read alot of them-some I just look at the pictures!

I am a Harry Potter fan-Love the books and movies. I love the books by Janice Holt Giles. I love and collect old, out of print books for children, especially series-Nancy Drew, Bobbsey Twins, Hardy Boys, & Judy Bolton. I am looking for an Old-blue cover-copy of 'The Haunted Bridge'/Nancy Drew that the covers are still in useable condition(for a purse); and I want the illustration from the front to put in a frame. I am a HUGE ND fan, and collect what I can. 'The Haunted Bridge' was the first ND bk I read-I am sentimental. OR, as some might say, Mental. :)

Programmed into my DVR-DOOL, Law&order, the CSI's, Dancin with the Stars, Castle, Harry's Law, Eureka, some reality shows-mostly Bravo, Project Runway, also love Army Wives and Drop Dead Diva, Gray's Anatomy, Private Practice, Desperate Housewives, Lifetime, TLC, Reba, Design Star, old shows and some sitcoms-most of the good ones are gone. I DVR ALL I watch.

I am a LONGtime fan of Days of Our Lives-been watching it since it came on the air! I was 12! I also love the opportunity to meet stars, authors, musicians, and anyone famous that I like. Guess you can say I am StarStruck-but I love it! Living in Atlanta gives me alot of celebrity ops. Have met 5 of the actors from Days.

LOST-and I am still bummed, disappointed, and disgusted with the ending!!! With all the creative stuff they came up with in 5 years they end it with a DREAM!? PUL-LEEZE! I bet half the fans could have come up with a better ending, and I would love to see it happen! Do I feel strongly about this???

Country music-GEORGE STRAIT, ELVIS, REBA, Ricky Van Shelton, Aaron Tippin, Neal McCoy, David Ball, Garth, Alan Jackson to name a few. Have met them all but-sob-George&Garth. Gospel-old time mostly.Quartets-male. Barbershop quartets-male and female. Good A Cappella.

I love old movies, chick flicks, musicals, and Disney. An Affrair to Remember-the Cary Grant and Deborah Kerr version is my favorite, Heidi with Shirley Temple, Castaway with Tom Hanks, Wizard of Oz-are some of my all-time-can-watch-anytime-favorites. Any movies with any of those actors, as well as Bette Davis, Joan Crawford, Doris Day, Rock Huson-what a Gor-Jes man!, John Wayne, Julia Roberts are ones I will always watch.

I am Divorced, have one Daughter, one Son-in-law, and 3 wonderful Grandchildren-we all live together-tho not necessarily by choice! : ) I have taught a Mini-Scrapbook class at an organization for those 50+, now teaching Recycled Art; and hang out at Archivers at least once a week to scrapbook with friends. I have 8 cats-indoor only;my daughters family has 6 indoor/outdoor cats, 2 dogs, and-UGH-a tarantula-even tho I forbade her to get it! We have a tendency to rescue strays,&take in unwanted pets, tho we are trying to cut down! It is getting harder to find folks to take them in. We have a decent sized house with a big fenced in yard. Would be nice if it was twice the size it is tho! : )

I am a Huge Cat lover! Love most anything Cat. I do not have a blog or website at the moment, that in the near future I hope, as well as getting my shop on Etsy going. Will add those URL's when I have them. I do have some pix up on Flickr of some of my works. I am a night owl. That should be more about me than you would Ever want to know!

I am not a prude, but I do not like blatant either. Tasteful Boobs and Butts are OK, but I really do not want below-the-waist frontal-nudity on any anything. I do not feel right displaying that in my book.

I do not use Kawaii, Hello kitty, the kids with the big eyes, pony beads. If you send something that I just can't find a use for I will swap it out to someone that I think can use it. Mostly I am easy to please tho.
