I am a freelance writer, artist, and book-loving globetrotter. I make lots of things in my free time including jewelry, journals, ATCs, knitted scarves and hats, and embroidered items.

I love animals especially dogs. I have two rescue dogs that live with me and three that live with my parents. I am vegan.

Snail mail makes me happy. When I was younger, I had over 150 pen pals! This was before Facebook made connecting easier. I love to write letters and collect beautiful postcards and stationery.

Travel is my passion. I want to own a retro camper one day and live on the road. I have traveled all over the United States and absolutely love anything travel-themed. My living room is full of vintage souvenirs and items I've collected while I was away.

Photography is one of my many hobbies. I own a Canon Rebel DSLR that I take with me everywhere I go. I also have a small instant camera that I use for art journaling and scrapbooking. I love photo challenges and try to participate in them regularly.

I love all types of music. I can't say that I listen to one style because I appreciate all forms of expression. I do have a dog named Joplin and another named Hendrix, so I guess you could say that I love the music from that era a lot. I grew up in the 1980s and 1990s, so it, too, influences what I listen to.

I'm currently enjoying a lot of Indie and Folk music. I love the band Iron & Wine. I've been listening to them repeatedly for quite some time.

I also love Lost in the Trees. I would say they are currently my favorite band. The last concert I went to was last month when Alanis Morissette played at the local casino.

I read all the time. My favorite types of books are Self-Help and Inspirational. I do enjoy a good fiction book, though.

Some of my favorite books of all time include The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho and Jonathan Livingston Seagull by Richard Bach. I have a huge collection of print and ebooks. I think I may rival my public library at this point.

Drawing, writing, journaling, sending letters, swapping, knitting, sewing, embroidery, photography. I love anything creative and challenging. I have a degree in Illustration and work as a freelance writer. Creativity is something I value.
