Casey Anselmi...mom, writer, believer. I am an easy-going, hopeful, hard-working, loving free-spirit. I believe in finding the goodness in life and in others, that there is magic behind every sunrise. I enjoy reading (self-help and stories of love and bravery). I am a planner with a wild side. I love quiet early mornings with a hot cup of coffee, the sound of my kids laughter and my bulldogs snoring.

I am still old school when it comes to books, I love the feel of a book in my hands. I love the places a book can take you. Some of my favorites are Gap Creek, How to Love an American Man, Love Does, This I Know, Daring Greatly, and the Gifts of Imperfection.

I am a romantic at heart, always believing that fairytales do exist and in love. Some of my favorite movies are Sex and the City, Hope Floats, The Holiday.. just to name a few.

I love art journaling, collaging and scrapbooking. I am starting to venture into trying out cool decorating projects found on Pintrest. A few supplies I can't seem to live without these days are Mod Podge, Washi Tape, and turquoise and yellow paints. I hoard supplies like stickers, tags, washi tape, fabric rips, etc.. to use in my art journals, planner, and projects.

Project Life and daily gratitude journals are also something I am crafting these days!

I love planning and am currently using a Erin Condren planner. I also have multiple art journals going at anytime. love to decorate them and make them uniquely mine.

I love sticky notes, colored markers, and fun paperclips. I love chipboard letters in bright colors blues, purple, lime green, pink, yellow and orange. I love polka dots chevrons, and doodles. Butterflies and dragonflies, bulldogs and sayings.

Starbucks and the smell of fall (sweet cinnamon pumpkin and leaves from Bath and Body works anyone?) make me smile.

I am embarking on a new VISION for 2014. I am going to pick a word for 2014 and work to make it happen for myself. My goal is to actually focus back on ME this year. See all that life has to offer and marvel at the little things.

Words I am considering: ME, Focus, Balance, Happen...

Me: make it about me first! So that I can give to others and love others better. Focus: Focus on Me, Focus on Balance, Focus on love, Focus on Giving.. etc Balance: Balance Life, Balance love, etc Happen: Make things happen!!! vs letting them happen!
