I have two children, my daughter Cindy is 23 and my son David is 14. I have been married to my wonderful husband Phillip for 15 years. My constant companion is my mini dashund Jake. I work for a group of surgeons. My job is great! I get along with everyone I work with and most days it is fun to be at work. I stayed home raising my children for about 10 years and kind of lost myself in my family. I became Phillip's wife and Cindy and David's mom. I am slowly finding me and mine again. It's hard but it's definately time. I love a variety of different music. My taste ranges from Barry Manilow to Pink Floyd. I guess my favorites come from the 80's. I used to say I didn't like country music but Lonestar, Carrie Underwood and some of the other newer artists are starting to change my mind. I'm not into rap but I do like some of the newer bands my son listens to. He calls it rock, but I know better! Rock is zepplin, ACDC, Pearl Jam and Black Sabbath. Todays music just doesn't compare.

I am a horror lover. Stephen King is my favorite but Dean Koontz writes some pretty wicked ones too. I also like a good romance novel every now and again. Mystery and detective novels are pretty high on my list. I'm not so much into history type books or anything to do with war unless it is something like Gone With the Wind. I like series books like V.C. Andrews used to write. I guess I have to say I like fantasy since I was first in line for every Harry Potter book that came out.

My absolute favorite is Ghost. It has sentimental meaning for my DH and I. Coming in a close second is Dirty Dancing. I guess I have watched it 50 times. I never get tired of Patrick Swayze walking up to Baby's parents and saying, "Nobody put's Baby in a corner." In the words of Paris Hilton, He is so Hot!!

I am a reality TV buff. I watch them all. American Idol, Suvivor and the Amazing Race are my favs. I also like House, Ghost Whisperer and Medium. I have been watching General Hospital for about 30 years. No kidding! I started watching it with my grandmother when I was about 11 and never stopped. I have to record it now that I work, but I never miss an episode.

I haven't had much time for crafts lately. Mostly it's home improvement type things. Painting, landscaping, laying tile and other things like that. I am trying to model my kitchen like a Venetian restaurant. I used Venetian plaster on the walls in a terra cotta color and have some Fat Chef things as accent pieces. My next step is a new floor. I just can't decide between vinyl and tile.
