I am married to my very own Mr. Darcy. I don't know what took him so long to find me but I am glad we have each other now. We have two beautiful sons and we look forward to living (mostly) happily ever after.

I like all kinds of music - it depends on the mood I am in. Right now I am in U2 kind of mood :)

I also like Muse, Depeche Mode, The Cure, The Beatles, Elvis, Classical (especially from Baroque), opera, and because of my sons I heart Thomas the Train & Mickey Mouse Clubhouse music. I am not so fond of the Wonder Pets music:D They sure love it, though!

I read just about everything. Right now I am reading a lot of books on creating playful learning spaces and about creating creative cards.

My favorite two books are Jane Eyre and Pride and Prejudice. I try to read them once a year.

I have The Great Gatsby on my reading list. I read that in high school and once as an adult. I want to see the movie so I want to read it again.

The Help, The Hunger Games Series, the occasional trashy romance novel, The DaVinci Code Series, The Lord of the Ring series, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo series...

Funnily enough, while I like to watch sci-fi, I don't like to read sci-fi much.

I like children's books, too. Reading to my kids has given me an appreciation for them. Eric Carle, Dr. Seuss, Beatrix Potter, Cicely Mary Barker, JK Rowling, Shel Silverstein, Jack Prelutsky, Kevin Henkes, E.B. White, Arnold Lobel

I like action and sci-fi but I also like period pieces and dramas. Serenity, Star Trek (2009), Pride & Prejudice (BBC version with Colin Firth), Shall we Dance (Japanese version), Pitch Perfect (hilarious!), Blade Runner, The Matrix Series, The Hunger Games, Rise of the Planet of the Apes, The Shawshank Redemption, The Help, To Kill a Mockingbird....

The only thing that I don't really like to see are war movies. Maybe they are too real for me...

FoodNetwork and food related tv: Cupcake Wars, Restaurant Impossible, Top Chef...

I like to make cards. I like to do smashbooks instead of scrapbooking.

Color me in earthtones, or blues and I am happy!

I gravitate towards vintage, steampunk, shabby chic but I can appreciate CAS & cutesy styles.

I like to stamp and use die cuts in my crafting. I am not much for digital stamping or scrapping. I like to use my hands.

I like to alter items and swap them. It is so cool to see how people take one idea and take to different places.
