My name is Tamie. Although I've been a member for quite a while, I've just recently started to participate in swaps.

I'm a SAHM (stay-at-home-mum) to one son (6) and one daughter (2) living in Ottawa with my hubby and our silver Mini Schnauzer. Married for 8 terrific years as of August 13, 2013 . We have no allergies.

Fav Animals:

All and any of them, especially fluffy baby animals.

Fav Teas

All of them, especially caffeine-free, and including bitter melon tea (the one most westerners hate.)

Nail Polish

All of them except nail caviar. I'd particularly enjoy an earthy colour. Or something unusual. Or "greige". Or bright lemon or fluorescent yellow (cheers me up when I'm glum). Or anything, really.

1. Love to SEW esp. apparel, including aprons, embroidery, etc.
2. Vegan cooking (I'm not a good vegan, more of a wanna-be, and I won't judge you if you're a regular omnivore.) Is there such a thing as a recipe card swap? If so, don't send your fav roast beef recipe. (I'd love new ways to make beans, lentils, rice & quinoa.) I'm aware of all the recipe sites online, but recipe cards are fun collectables that I'm fond of.
3. I like to knit and crochet items.
4. I'm experimenting with ATCs.They seem small enough, and specific enough to be less intimidating than a larger project.
5. Bookmarks (I'm usually reading a few different books at once.)
