I work in the financial/brokerage business in a call center, and I've been making a lot of small art pieces while at work to help keep me calm with a stressfull environment. I joined this website because I'd like to send and receive mail and would use what I get to decorate my cubicle. I am a classically trained artist with a BFA who has a wide range of interests.

I'm not a "craft" person by nature or ability. I tend to have a more artistic approach and use of materials, and my art school background in drawing and sculpture forces me to be this way. I can't knit, sew, or do anything with fabric except wear it. My mother is an expert in needlepoint, but I failed wehn attempted. I'm more adept at traditional art, including drawing and color use. I'm currently using unexpected materials, and although I do like collage, and use scrapbooking like techniques, I'm not a scrapbooker. I apologize. I do enjoy looking, touching, owning craft objects.

Q: How old are you? A: 26

Q: Are you a girl or a boy? A: I am of the female gender.

Q: Why are you on swap-bot? A: Because it encompasses everything I've been wanting to do for a while now, from gaining Pen Pals (who actually write back) to sharing art that I make on a wider scale then just my friends, family, and co-workers.

Q: What's your favorite fashion accesory? A: Hats. I am obsessed with hats, and I'm always wearing one. From caps to knit hats to the kind you'd see an orthodox jewish woman wearing. Although I'm not orthadox (but I am Jewish), I totally tell my work management I am so I can get away with it!

Q: So whats with you and this odd obsession with celebrities? A: Everyone's got to have an obsession with something, right? Some people its their cat, or ducks, or paperclips. For me, its actors, actresses, and those who make it into the news for just being famous. I like even the most hated celebs, like Paris Hilton and Ashlee Simpson. But I like them because they are famous for nothing! You'll find that a lot of my swaps focus on that.

Q: Do you collect anything random? A: Rubber duckies. It started with a big one a co-worker gave me, and then people just started leaving them in all shapes or sizes on my desk. Now I have gained stickers, pictures, and old duckies that are unwanted. I don't get it but I have it and do it!

Q: What is your work environment like? A: A cubicle. No window. Just me and my toys.
