i'm a married, stay-at-home mom of 4. Although, 1 is now married and off to college. She is somewhere on here under the name Aurora56.

i enjoy doing many different crafts such as candle making, jewelry, cross-stitching, and plastic canvas, are just to name a few... i love to read, cook, and spend time with my family. i'm a very laid back, country girl at heart. i'm defitniely not the normal type. My dad, who passed away recently, loved to tell me how weird i am, and i always told him...Thanks cause being normal is highly overrated! God, bless you dad and i miss you more every day! i take pride in the fact that i don't fit in the mold. And i'm proud to say, that my wonderful, loving Husband is the same way and that our beautiful kids are following in our footsteps...In their own way of course!

i have been married to my soul mate & best friend for 13yrs and i didn't know it was possible to love someone more and more deeply with everyday that goes by... my husband, August, is of Mexican decent and therefore is very involved in his hispanic heritage. He especially loves the Aztec side of it, and likes finding/receiving things with the Aztec calendar and such. He also enjoys celebrating the holidays from the Mexican culture like Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) and Cinco de Mayo. So you could never go wrong sending him Dia skulls and other things from these holidays. He's a man so he wouldn't mind naughty mail, such as vintage nude ATC's, and alike things like that. ;) He is also interested in the BDSM lifestyle. Reading wise he enjoys graphic novels. His favorite comic book character is Batman. He has enjoyed reading Sherrilyn Kenyon's Dark-Hunters series with me. He has started reading her other series called The Lords of Avalon. He has seen some new Zorro books out and is interested in them as well. August listens to all types of music such as cumbia, salsa, country, tejano, & pop. Some of his favorite music artists are Carlos Santana, Reba McEntire, ZZ Top, & Brooks & Dunn to name a few... He is also into art...He loves paintings by Luis Royo, Frida Khalo, Diego Riveria, & Al Rio. He would love to receive anything with their art on it. His hobbies are leather whip making & woodworking.

i like a variety of music, although i guess i can say that i'm partial to country.

Some of my favorite artists are Trace Adkins, George Strait, Tim McGraw, Reba McEntire...that's just to name a few.

i also like Evanescence, Enigma, Three Days Grace...i'm not very good at keeping up with artists' names so i'm only able to name a few that i know or remember...

i enjoy spiritual or meditating music. i also love listening to The Trans-Siberian Orchestra.

My favorite book so far is The Scarlet Pimpernel by Baroness Emmuska Orczy. i had to read it as an assignment in my freshman year of high school and have loved the book ever since.

One of my favorite authors is Sherrilyn Kenyon. i absolutely loved her Dark-Hunter series.

i love romance novels as you might have guessed, and even more so if they have to do with vampires or other supernatural beings. As well as the BDSM lifestyle.

i also love getting new craft or cook books! So many things to do and so little time...

Lets see...one of my favorite movies is The Buccaneer and of course The Scarlet Pimpernel.

Like the Mummy movies with Brendan Fraser.

Also Disney movies old school and new school. Although the old school Disney to me was and is better...

Favorite television series are Charmed, The Tudors (really love it), House, Criminal Minds, NCIS (love Abby)...all i can think of at the moment.

I also like National Geographic, and channels like the Discovery Channel.

As stated before i love candle making, jewelry, cross-stitching, plastic canvas, sewing...etc.

If it is different, pertains to Halloween especially being gothic, having to do with skulls, dragons, spiders and such, Christmas, or Mexican...all the better.

Otherwise, i will try just about any craft that catches my interest...which isn't saying much, since i'm a Gemini...lol

i figured i would include this for the kid related swaps that i might participate in...

My 12yr daughter, Alyssa, enjoys minature things. She is a very imaginative and creative girl. She loves music. She loves the darker things in life like skulls, spiders, dark fairies and such. She also loves the Twilight Series. She is for team Jacob at the moment.

My 11yr old daughter, Michaela, loves crafts and works on the same types i do. She also loves to read & cook too. She's into Tinkerbell and fairies. Although she does like the darker things as well, just like her sister.

And my 9yr old son, August James (A.J.), likes to build things. He likes to read especially books on natural history and/or science, and comics. He's into Transformers, Batman, skulls, dragons, etc...He also enjoys doing woodwork with his father.

And of course all of our kids love to spend time as a family, playing board games, cooking, and gardening.
