I've worked for my local library system for 11 years. I'm 38, a single mother of 2 teen boys. My oldest was diagnosed with autism and ADHD in the second grade. He's 18 now and most of my free time, outside of my employment, is one on one with him, doctor appointments and therapy sessions.

I like swap-bot because it gives me a creative outlet which I find extremely therapeutic along with the opportunity to meet other creative folks I can connect with. Win-win!

I was born and raised on the west coast then moved to the Miami 14 years ago. I miss seeing my family & friends, the mountains and cooler weather.

I've been a crazy coupon lady in the past but have settled down a bit this year.

I don't have any pets at this time, but I love cats and dogs.

My favorite colors... Green, all shades except split pea green, navy blue/periwinkle, dark purple/lilac.

I look forward to Chinese New Year and St Patrick's Day but Autumn is my favorite season; Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas make me giddy. The leaves changing colors, cinnamon & clove spices, pumpkin and pine scents in the cool air.

I have an obscene amount of books for my small apartment; most are cook books, arts/crafts, self help, biographies and a fair amount of fiction. Some favorite childrens books: The Giving Tree, The Book that Eats People, Harold and the Purple Crayon.

I like a mixture of drama and comedy. I'm not crazy about horror but somehow my younger son got me into The Walking Dead. I also enjoy Game of Thrones, Greys Anatomy, Breaking Bad, X-Files, Weeds, The Big Bang Theory, The Voice, Modern Family, anything on Food Network, The Chew & Documentaries.
