I've turned 41 this year and working on the fabulous part. I have an amazing husband of 13 years ("legally" married for the last 5) I have three "children" from my first marriage. Our 22 year old daughter and her boyfriend have just blessed us with out first Grandchild, he will be 2 weeks old in just a few days and we never thought we could love someone so completely and differently than we do him. Our 19 year old son gives us not a whole lot to complain about, other then the odd collection of dirty dishes in his room.. Our 17 year old keeps my hair stylist employed with the amount of hair colour I need to keep the greys hidden.

I live in a small town in Northern Ontario, Canada. We always have a full house, the hubby and I, two out of three "children" and their significant others, a grand baby, 2 cats and 2 dogs (our 2.5 year old Mastiff/Boxer mix and our daughters 8 month old Coon Hound)

I have good days and bad days, even with my meds some days I just don't want to get out of bed. I try every day to find as much positive around me as I can..

I LOVE music. I love to dance. I love to sing along to the music even though I can't carry a tune. Not a fan of gangster rap, or a lot of cuss words in the lyrics. I love my Saturday mornings when the top 40 Country countdown comes on and most of the Top 40 music.

I've always been an avid reader. Fiction, who done its, legal/crime novels, romance, but lately the only books I've been going through are books of scrap booking paper.. lol..

Not a fan of gore or horrors. I watch a fair share of children's movies and older movies on VHS when I'm in my work/office/craft room.

I don't get to watch a lot of TV during regular hours.. I swear the only channels that work around here are sports and kids channels. :)

If there is a show I want to watch I'll wait until it is available online and watch it then.

There aren't too many crafts that I haven't at least tried. I've stuck with scrap booking and card making the longest, with sewing right up in there. I've just started getting over the hoarding aspect of all the pretty notions, buttons and ribbon and actually using them!!

I love working on Christmas cards and anything with snowmen. I can spend an entire day in my craft room making cards. Love stamping and sparklie papers.

For the last 2 years I have spent my Monday to Friday's watching toddlers in my home, and at the end of July I will say goodbye to that part of my life and move on to something else. I'm feeling better about leaving the home and working outside of it, but not so much with working with other people. So I have joined a dear friend and we are off to clean homes and local businesses after hours.. when all the people are gone.

I love home cooked wholesome meals. Not a fan of fast food. My favorite treat when I travel is Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Latte (which I am working on perfecting at home). I love trying new foods. I love exotic destinations. I love sun and heat of the summer, the colours and crispness of fall, the first snow fall of winter and the new life in the spring.

I love the colour orange, but a rustic fall orange. I love the cooler weather in fall when I can spend an entire day in my kitchen baking, canning and making preserves. I give away a lot of what I make. I love making people happy.

Dislikes Birds Not a fan of "kitty" or "puppy" prints, stickers or cards.. No friendship books please. Religious items Clowns perfume (allergies) no childish items

I'll try anything once, twice if it's good.
