• CHECK THIS OUT * * * * * -- OK, so I've had a problem happen in life since I joined Swap-bot. I joined to give myself a reason to keep creating art. I jumped in to postcard swaps, ATC swaps, and a few electronic swaps. I was loving it -- the act of creating, of feeling satisfaction of picking the right thing for your partner, and receiving the fun things in the mail.

Around June 22nd, I logged on to my account and was shocked to find that I had received a couple of 1 ratings. No one had contacted me to let me know something was missing. I was blindsided by this! My goal was to never have anything but 5s and the majority of those 5s with a heart.

Both of the people who left the 1 rating were in "Stuff the Mailbox #24" where I had 20 partners. I notified everyone in the swap that my packages were missing and told them I would get another package out in the mail asap.

Shortly after that, I started receiving other messages from other swaps stating that my mailing had not been received. The best I can figure is that I'm missing outgoing mail from about May 10 - June 22.

I filed a report with the post office and the police. They are conducting an investigation, but I don't know any new results. Anything that was a package, fat envelope, a bright/colorful/decorated envelope, and even fancy postcards have been taken.

I am working as quickly as I can to get substitute items sent out to my swap partners. I am not skimping on artwork, ATCs, postcards, or anything. Your replacement mailing will be equivalent or better that the original item sent to you.

I plan to have every swap item(s) mailed out by July 13. I hope I can count on everyone's patience, understanding, and forgiveness.

Hello! My name is Jill Campbell, and I live near where the corners of Kansas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Missouri meet.

I am a retired teacher, with 10 years teaching in public high schools and 20 years teaching at Pittsburg State University in Pittsburg, Kansas. I have my Bachelor of Science in Education w/ an Emphasis on English and Technical Writing. I also have 2 masters degrees and hours toward my doctorate, but I am probably finished unless i see a class or classes that just interest me.

I am a grandmother of 4 little girls who I refer to as "my little princesses". I used to think that people who talked about their grandkids like this were just SO annoying, but now I understand. There is nothing that compares to grandchildren!

I grew up on a farm, where my life lessons were influenced by the value of a life, strong work ethic, sense of humor, responsibility, and accountability.

I currently spend time playing the piano, reading, painting, crafting, doing special things w/ my granddaughters, cooking/baking, taking pictures, scrapbooking, book-making, and more. I love creating things in all levels of difficulty.
