Hello there! My name is Julia and I live in Florida but I’m originally from New York. I work as a television news reporter and anchor. I get to do lots of cool things. I just recently moved to Florida with my husband.

In my spare time, I enjoy trying new vegan recipes with my carnivorous husband. I have been vegan for 3 years. I decided to go vegan as both moral and health reasons. I would love to swap recipes, snacks and beauty products!

And I'm not that big of a tea drinker. I pretty much only drink hot tea when I'm sick but I do like iced tea!

In regards to crafting, I love washi tape, stickers, and different papers (anything to collage with!). I like making envelope art, pocket letters, shaker cards and paper princess wands. Please see some examples of work below or visit my Instagram page for more at julia_mae123.

I like floral print, succulents, vintage (Tim Holtz!), metallic and pinterest/tumblr photos/prints. My favorite colors are pink, light gray, teal, lavender. I find inspiration from Youtubers like Brittany McCowan, Jordan Clark, Jenny Journals, Danny from Pop Fizz Paper and Sarah Swan.

I am also working on my calligraphy. I hope to build my collection as I continue journaling, scrapbooking and of course penpaling!

I am also a fan of anime. Cute anime girl stickers are a fave! I started watching anime around the age of 12. My first anime was Kiki's Delivery Service. I've also come to love other Studio Ghibli films including Spirted Away, My Neighbor Totroro and The Cat Returns.

I'm not really a fan of KPop. I know what it is but I don't know and groups or songs.

Television Shows - Steven Universe! (OBSESSED As a Valentine's Day gift my friend gifted to our other friend a bouquet of roses but it was different cut outs of Rose Quartz and I was secretly wanting one of my own!) - I also like drama tv, like Seven Seconds on Netflix or 9-1-1 on FOX.
