I believe in kindness, and believe that we all should give a person the benefit of grace. We are human and not perfect and all have the different skill sets. It is better to be kind and rate someone for their effort than to be mean and nasty. Swapping is supposed to be fun and a place to meet new friends. It serves no purpose to bash someone if you didn't get the perfect item. Pass it on or put it in your stash. If interested in a private swap for artwork or ATC send an email. I have mailed all the swaps I was involved in. IF you did not receive it please send me an email and I will resend. If something is not up to your standards, again please let me know and I will remake and resend. I don't believe in waste especially of paper products because we need trees to breathe so I do recycle mistakes and cardboard. If for some reason, something comes unglued and you see that there was a mistake or poorly painted ATC used as a back. I apologize in advance and will make it over.

I love swapping and try to look at the person's profile and send them something they would like. I was flaked on for the first time and am kind of bummed about it. So if you get me, send a note if you are not able to send out.
I am a self taught artist who has a studio at home. I paint in acrylics and watercolors. My artwork has been in over 1000 shows all over the world and have received recognition for my artwork. Since I started swapping I have been generous with giving out stars. The fact that someone took the time to make me something I think is wonderful and even if it is not my taste will rate them highly. I have noticed that I have sent out swaps that may include an ATC of mine. I don't use stickers as my ATC's are usually a miniature of a painting I have done or will do because I like the ATC. Art is subjective so you may not like my work but I ask that you take in consideration that it was not sticking on stickers but hand painted. Right now I am discouraged by swaps. I have been flaked on more then once and rated low on art work that others have paid for....Okay I am getting off my soapbox. I just ask that you be fair. I love to travel...anywhere. The thought of exploring somewhere new is exciting. My other love is eating out ....and my motto is have dessert first! Then if you don't finish your meal you have lunch the next day.
I enjoy old movies...favorite movie Breakfast at Tiffany's. I am a card angel to chemo patients, so if you get me in a blind swap or something other I could use CUTE BLANK GREETING CARDS WITH ENVELOPES. I also love blank ATC supplies, anything Tim Holtz. Vintage items. I want to redo my guest bathroom and make it a vintage powder room. Love drawing or watercolor pads. Anything Paris related.

I take my swaps seriously, live in a small town so if you are going to be late sending me your package, I am understanding. Just don't flake on me. ;) I dislike bugs....anything crawly creeps me out.
I have two cats one whose name is mama and has a bad habit of catching snakes and bringing them inside as a gift...The other is a previous Feral cat named Downey who has taken me a year to teach how to play with cat toys. I am married. Have two grown daughters, and two grandchildren..
I love to dance. I take pictures of everything.. I was widowed when I met my husband on a dare date and we were married last August.

I paint. I love playing with a paint airbrush tool. Dia de los Muertos crafts. (day of the dead). Love making ATC's and watercolor and acrylic painting. Always could use painting supplies like pads of paper.

I have Non Hodgkin's lymphoma and SLE Lupus. I am in treatment, but my husband has been kind enough to take my swaps to the Post Office. I have been battling cancer since 2006. I hope to one day write a book about my cancer journey. I believe in honesty and kindness. I take swaps and my artwork very personal. I have made a couple of mistakes. I sent out an ATC and had reused a drawing of a zombie that was scary looking as a back of an ATC. It was never meant to see the light of day but unfortunately the glue I used did not stick correctly and the person who received the ATC thought I did that on purpose. As I stated before I recycle and mortified that she saw the zombie. I would never send something offensive. I am human, mistakes happen and I am sorry for that mistake. I am a painter..and will use and repurpose materials. I respect crafters and wish I had a dye cut machine. Because I am an artist I do not hold myself above anyone. We all just have different skill sets. I apologize if I sound arrogant. I have been flaked on 6 times and have seen profiles where people publish their names. I don't do that. I think KARMA will take care of them and I do believe things get lost in the mail. It is not the end of the world for me if I did not get a swap. I personally enjoy making stuff for people and my world will not end if a swap does not arrive.

Decaf coffee. I really don't dislike much....am grateful for anything, my major dislike are flakers. My average has been 10 percent of the swaps I have been involved in I have been flaked on. This has made me a little sad. I look forward to receiving swaps because mostly everything I have gotten has been wonderful. Especially the people who have gone above and beyond and sent extra special cards to use in the Chemo Angel program that I am involved in. To all of you who have sent your swaps, I salute you and am extremely grateful.
To the flakers, just wanted to say that I am now considering not swapping anymore. Maybe do private swaps with the people who have been extremely kind. Flakers, just remember KARMA. BTW...I understand things being lost in the mail...just when I have emailed you, and you fool me again and say you have remade and mailed...kind of hard to believe lost twice in the mail.
