6/16- taking a hiatus due to a bit of chaos in my life. Moving across my state, switching jobs, studying for a major exam, and supporting an unwell loved one. Hoping to come back in August!

I swapped 2006-2010 and then life got in the way. Now I'm older with my own family and career and finally slowing the grind and have time for my own hobbies.

Hello Everyone! Very happy to be back I look forward to many creative and fun swaps, I love mail and art so I hope this will be a lot of fun.

How I rate: I ALWAYS rate and I give hearts if the art is of high quality,unique, uses new techniques, or if for one reason or another I simply love the work. I also give hearts for extras or interesting packaging. However, if the art or main object is of poor quality you will not get hearts no matter how many extras you give. all that said I am pretty lenient and give out a lot of hearts.

I will always attempt to contact someone before giving a low rating in an attempt to resolve the issue, Its respectful and I hope someone would do the same for me.

I am an avid reader, My favorites are His Dark Materials trilogy. I also enjoy Dean Koontz and Stephen King. However, I read a vast multitude of other authors, genres, and styles.

Currently, I'm re-reading The Postman and Lord of the Flies (6/1)

I love. a lot of television shows- currently watching Ozark (6/1)

Food: Pancakes(with chocolate chips), waffles and toast-but I never actually eat breakfast food for breakfast. I also love hot rice and gravy (my comfort food), mac and cheese, and fresh fruit platters.

Candy: Skittles, chocolate, and pear jelly beans

Location: Anywhere with pretty beaches and palm trees, mountains, or waterfalls.

Hobbies: Art, reading, swimming, kayaking, hiking.

Animal: cats!

Colors: Blues, purples, and Greens

I love warm beaches and palm trees, flip-flops and smoothies, swimming, and building elaborate sandcastles. I've recently been diamond painting a lot!

I also love nature, hiking, and camping. Fun Fact- I have a harness-trained adventure cat who loves to go hiking and camping with me, however, she does NOT like to kayak.

A lot of my inspiration comes from Flickr, I love how simply looking at photographs can evoke such an amazing range of emotions

My favorite holiday is Halloween, and I love scary movies and haunted houses! This comes with an interest in legends ( vampires, loup-garou and the like) and the darker side of various global mythologies. I should also mention I occasionally have a darker sense of humor.

I have a pet cat and two hermit crabs.

When I'm stressed in the summer I take walks or run, and in the winter I bake.

I'm in medicine and work full time.
