I'm 41 and live in Washington State. I'm currently a stay-at-home mom. I have 3 daughters (1 college freshman, a highschool sophomore and a 4th grader).

We have an old golden retriever, 2 kittens, a white rat, two ducks, and numerous chickens. ...and I'm a mega reader.

I love AC/DC, Lady Gaga, 80s music, and even Celtic Woman. I'm sorry to say that I can't stand The Doors, but I'll put up with Stevie Ray Vaughn and Jimmy Hendrix to keep my marriage from breaking apart.

I collect all Dr. Seuss books!

I generally pick independent titles."Escanaba in da Moonlight" and "Kenny" for laughs. "The Visitor" for drama.

My vintage favorites: "Breakfast at Tiffany's", "Soylent Green", "The Island", "The Wedding Singer".

"Survivor" is the family night/dessert show. "The Daily Show" and "Colbert Report" are nightly musts.

"Hoarders" is now a must see too--after many trips to the Goodwill donation area and the dump I think I've eliminated any major hoarding tendencies.

The only crafts I don't like to do are scrapbooking and knitting. I tried them and they just weren't for me. I love to figure out how things were made and try new products.

• I really like Zakka style/Japanese influenced items. The neutral colors are always a hit along with black.

*Nature inspired and made, recycled/upcycled/repurposed, and thrifted/yardsaled items are also favorites.

*Halloween is my FAVORITE holidays. But then I like all the holidays!
