I moved back to the family farm where I grew up two years ago with my husband, teenage son, and our bulldog. I am so grateful to be here. City life is not for me. I'm a natural born creative and I am just getting back to art as I have not made time for it the past few years. It was my life for many.

I am a candlemaker and spend a lot of my time on evenings and weekends making candles and attending farmer's markets and craft fairs. I'm reevaluating that because I also work full time during the week days and life is short so I want to make more time for the people and things that I love.

We had a life changing experience in June of 2023 with our son and our perspective on life has changed so much. We are so grateful that he is still here with us.

I like a large variety of music and have become more open minded with it over the years. I mostly like classic rock, but I like newer rock also. I attended a lot of concerts in my teen and twenties. The last concert that we went to a few years ago was Tool. I didn't like country music in the past, but have learned to appreciate it more and give some of it a chance. I like Chris Stapleton and Tennessee Whiskey is one of my favorite songs.

I like most all colors, but purple and burgundy are my favorites. I love Autumn colors like deep reds, oranges, golden yellows and brown. Jewel tones are also very pretty.

I love making candles, mixed media art, ATCs, acrylic painting and watercolor, painting porch boards and door hangers. I'm a very creative and crafty person so I've tried so many crafts through the years. I love them all. I might get back into jewelry making and have some macrame to try.

I love doing crafts with my niece who is four. She comes to my house and loves craft time with Aunt Katie. She thinks that my craft room is so awesome and I have so many supplies!

Bridesmaids, Elf, Hocus Pocus, Practical Magic, Christmas Vacation. I love movies with Will Ferrell or Melissa McCarthy in them. I also like horror movies.

Eat, Pray, Love by Elizabeth Gilbert is my favorite book, but there are so many others that I like. Big Magic, Memoirs of a Geisha, books on self discovery and Spirituality or topics of the metaphysical.
