Hello! I'm Katie, and I live with my husband and 2 sons on a nice, big, tree-filled plot of land in Michigan.

I'm quite fond of the outdoors and, perhaps unsurprisingly, many of my hobbies are outdoorsy, too. I love mountain biking, hiking, camping, kayaking, and taking our Jeep off-roading. I work at a nature center, and am a licensed wildlife rehabilitator, so I am also quite fond of woodland animals, too.

In my spare time, I love to read (especially adventure-type stories), garden, go adventuring with my husband and two sons, snuggle with my two kitties and very talkative parrot, and correspond with interesting people.

Here are some things that I love:

Trees! (Trees are my favorite!)

Woodland Animals (ALL, but especially foxes, owls, squirrels, crows, bats)

Reptiles (snakes, and turtles especially)

Other Animals (especially parrots)

Artworks (famous or not)

Nature-y themed things (leaves, stones, mushrooms, pinecones, flowers, etc)

Fruit themed things (especially cherries, strawberries, watermelon, and lemons)

The colors green and purple

Fountain pens and inks (I have wayyyy too many TWSBI Eco’s and love them all!)

Stationery! I have been collecting (and avidly using) stationery since I was 7 years old. I LOVE it! Letter sets, notecards, pretty/fun papers, homemade envelopes, postcards (love Postcrossing!). It’s all good. :)

I also love cool postage stamps! Both modern and vintage (seriously love that old vintage “Love” puppy one). If you use cool stamps on your envelope, I definitely notice, and will definitely save them.

Last but not least: Stickers! I love almost all stickers (especially scrapbook grade). I especially love naturey or woodland animal ones, and seasonal ones are fun too. But my tastes definitely are not limited to those. I love almost ALL stickers! Flowers, butterflies, bugs, designs, fruit, food, space, the moon, science, fall, trees, plants, mushrooms - I like them all! (but please no reward or kiddie characters Dora/frozen/etc., and I don’t really use alphabet stickers either)

Dislikes:

I'm not much of a tea drinker. I haven't really found one that I like yet. But I might have a few interesting ones to swap.

That's the only "dislike" I can think of at the moment. :)
