What I pledged

3rd September - I'm still not doing well and am way behind on my swaps - I'm really sorry. I will be contacting all my owed swap partners individually.

1st August - My migraines have been very bad the last couple of weeks, hence not being online during that period. I'm really not up to doing anything at the moment, but please don't worry about any swaps I owe - they will get done.

I'm 36 years old and living happily with my long-term partner in sunny Devon. I'm a stepmother to two wonderful, now grown-up, children. In July 2006 I became Nanny Ellie to Georgia Ella.

Although I've never been a 'girly girl' - more a tomboy - I'm beginning to appreciate prettier things, especially with all the delightful things sent to me by my fellow swappers. I'm fairly new to crafting, but I will always put 100% into anything I try.

At the moment my passion is sewing. My first sewing machine arrived on the 21st December and I am excited beyond words. Hopefully, with plenty of practice and advice, I will soon be making many wonderful creations.

VERY IMPORTANT - I am intolerant to cow's milk, yeast and many fruits. Please don't send me any food items - including drinks.

CSI:Las Vegas, Battlestar Galactica (new and orginal), Star Trek, The X-files. I don't like reality television, especially programmes like Big Brother.

At the moment it's all about sewing. I have discovered a real passion for sewing and have a growing list of things I want to try - morsebags, totes, stuffies, sock puppets, rag dolls and more.
