I'm just learning to crochet and knit with needles. The crocheting is going more smoothly. I'm pretty good at knitting on the Knifty Knitter looms, though I'm not good at following patterns. I'd rather make up my own. I make mostly scarves and hats, and I've experimented with plarn and grocery totes. I like to recycle whenever I can, which includes using #6 plastic to make my own shrinky dinks. I like to paint with acrylics, though I don't do it nearly often enough. I like to make unique stenciled tshirts, and iron on transfers are fun too. I've recently become addicted to inchies, and realized that I've always been somewhat of a paper crafter at heart. I love to try new things though. I am dying to make some plastic bottle beads, experiment with resin, and learn how to sew. I'd love to make some fused plastic stuff...I guess I really like to try to melt things and see what happens.

I'm a newlywed and I have a 7 year old Dachshund/Beagle mix. I work evenings as a server, which usually means I'm crafting after work into the wee hours of the morning. I have craft ADD in that I can never decide what I want to work on. When I finish a project, you can bet it will be awhile before I make another one just like it. I collect buttons, wine corks, and bottle caps in hopes that I'll figure out something really cool to do with them one day. My house is decorated in what I call European/Cafe style, meaning I have a bunch of Italian, Eiffel Tower and wine paraphernalia. I've recently fallen in love with aqua, though it goes with nothing in my house. I play a little World of Warcraft when I have crafter's block, and I love to read bestsellers and chick lit.
