I'm 55 and an avid rubber stamper, but love to play with all sorts of media. I'm really into ATC's just now but like to do all sorts of crafty things.

I'm a proud supporting member of the Red Hat Society and always willing to swap goodies with that theme, and chat with other members. As such, two of my favorite colors are red and purple.

My favorite color is blue...any shade except aqua tinted; my least favorite is orange.

I'm no artist; I want that said up front...I can't draw. My images are primarily stamped ones with some CG items as well.

My preference in images is for "real"; not that I don't love fantasy creatures ie dragons and unicorns. But they need to not be cartoon or caricature images, kwim?

Humor is fantastic, nudity and language don't offend me (I have a few quite raunchy stamps).

Not into zentangle stuff, stuff where you put crowns and/or wings on things or cute stuff...nothing wrong with any of it; just not my style.

I live in Colorado with my dear husband Dave and 3 dogs: Sam is about 85 lbs and an Old English Sheepdog cross, Booger is an 8 lb Maltese and Abby is a 5 lb Pomeranian/Chihuahua cross. Life is interesting...and good :) Animals are definitely in my list of "A Few of my Favorite Things". I love pretty much all critters and would have tons of them if I could.

Love to read almost anything except "romance" (if you've read one you've read them all, imo) hard core SF (I don't care how the warp drive works, I want to know what happened). I tend to read authors: King, Koontz, Eddings, Patterson, Michener, JD Robb are a few of my favorites.

Music is an important thing in my life; I'm particularly fond of oldie rock and roll, anything do-wop, blues, some alternative. About anything other than old c&w (the newer stuff isn't bad), rap and hip hop.

Movies are great. Depending on my mood I'll watch anything from comedy to horror to action...don't much care for animated stuff though.

TV for me is lots of cop shows: NCIS, CSI, Criminal Minds, Medium and lots of stuff on ID, Animal Planet and TLC.

I'm crazy about animals, dogs in particular. My "royal" Red Hat name is Duchess of Dogs. Furkids give you less grief than skinkids, LOL.

A Few (more) of my Favorite Things: butterflies, hummingbirds, snowflakes, quirky and/or profound quotes, magic in fantasy, jokes, the smell of fresh cut grass and new sawn wood, rain, plain ole Columbian coffee black, art deco, childrens' laughter, horses, good friends.
