December - Wishing one and all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! I'm off to spend the week with family.

October - time has flown, I spent the summer holidays with my daughter and visiting family. I'm getting around fairly well now. But not looking forward to the weather ahead.

Misfortune visited me last fall with emergency gall bladder surgery. I was home just a few days when I went back to the hospital with an infection. After that battle for two weeks I was going about my day and slipped on my way into the market and cracked my hip! That recovery took over a month, from hospital to rehab center and finally home again. My family tried to keep my spirits up but i was very angry and sad. My pity party is over and i wish to apologize to you if you didnt get my swap item. I hope you are all happy, healthy, and well.

*regarding ratings...... My family took over sending my swap items while I was laid up, and assured me all were sent. I would be willing to resend for better rating, if you just message me for what swap you feel you were looked over, if any.

Hello! I am a part time nanny, with some volunteer work and a little admin assistance thrown in from time to time.

I have moved around the US quite a bit.
My husband was in the Air Force. I love to support our troops with care packages and letters.

I am a Christian and active in my local church. I say MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Quilting and Scrapbooking are my top two.

I am dabbling in some embroidery, but I don't know many stitches yet.

And I love to take photographs, but mostly snapshots of family, friends, and some nature.

*I have a daughter who likes beading.

I love to read political thrillers.

I am interested in homesteading and prepping.

I am picky about what sci-fi I read.

I like religious books about daily life applications.

I'm always keen on cookbooks.

And I never pass up an "quick" organization title, although they all seem to say the same things, and I haven't gotten the least bit motivated to tidy up yet!

Anything homemade!

If I had a wish list, I think it would include any of these things:

• note cards
• Disney anything
• scraps of fabric at least 1.5" wide strip or square (currently working on a batik quilt)
• postcards (for swaps I like them written on and stamped)
• beads and supplies for my daughters jewelry making habit
• recipes (on 4x6 or smaller cards)
• scrapbook supplies (really anything except brads, and paper flowers)

-copies of your nature snapshots or cool architecture

If scented, I like vanilla and "beachy". I like watermelon flavored candies and gum.

Gothic, skulls, dark themed anything. The color orange and anything flavored orange or grape. Cinnamon. Bad allergy! Cats.
