About Me
I am a wife, mother, and grandmother. Together hubby and I have seven children, eleven grandchildren with one more due in September 2015. I'm just a come as you are gal. I'm not a girly girl.....no pink fluff here. Give me a big comfy tee shirt and a pair of baggy sweat pants.... and I'm a happy camper. I love animals of all kinds, enjoy going 4 wheeling in the snow, but also enjoy a cuddle up movie night at home. I have a small garden..... I recycle....I cook from scratch.....I love walking my dogs.......
Favorite Crafts
I am a craftaholic. I do just about everything, but quilting and knitting are my favorite. I learned to be crafty from my mom and aunts. I have a good size stash of yarns , fabric, and cross stitch items...... but one can never have too much.
I love getting scrap fabric.... the leftovers after a project is completed.
I knit a lot of baby items so love swapping patterns.
Favorite Books
I am a huge bookworm. I love a good mystery, but also enjoy a sappy romance once in awhile too. Some of my favorite authors are James Patterson, John Grisham, Debbie Macomber, and Danielle Steele. I love to read Amish fiction too.
Favorite Music
I'm grew up listening to the old twang of country music..... and much to my husband's dislike.... I am still a die hard country music fan.

Favorite Television
We do not have television service in our home, but I do have a Netflix and Hula Plus account, so I want a lot of old series and movies. I don't like too much blood and guts so I watch a lot of family friendly shows.
my likes/dislikes
I collect thimbles, pin cushions, magnets for my refrigerator, coffee mugs, .
I like any shade of blue and purple.
I'm a tea drinker, but will drink coffee on occasion.
I love fabric.....cotton for quilting.
I love old crochet patterns for doilies.
Old buttons, Vintage jewelry, and vintage tea cups are some of my favorite things too.
I love to receive personal mail. I've been pen pals with a wonderful lady for a couple years. So I love pretty stationary, homemade envelopes, and stickers.
I love making, swapping, and collecting friendship books.
I have done any pocket letters yet,but hope to soon.
And of course..... chocolate...... and more chocolate. ( don't like dark chocolate).
information
I want to explain something. Yes I have 7 ones only profile...they are all from a few years ago and as I know there is no real excuse for not completing a swap commitment, I do want to explain that I was having some serious health problems during that time and I over extended myself thus I did not complete my swap obligations.... I am extremely sorry and do offer my sincerest apologies to the 7 ladies that were my partners. I don't know if any of them are still active on the website, but if they are and if the would contact me I would be more than happy to send then a special package to help make up for my lack of communication and such from past swaps.

Hi Sue! I adore your love for knitting, quilting, and crocheting! I have tried to learn how to crochet in the past, but I just didn't get it. My mother-in-law is going to teach me when she moves in with us later this year! I can't wait to make homemade scarves and knit hats!
I also collect recipes! I love to bake, and just recently discovered cooking! My hubby is a phenomenal cook, so I've never had to worry about it until recently - he recently switched to four 10-hour days (M-Th) so he doesn't arrive home until late. Which means? I get to cook for him 4 out of 7 days per week! It's a challenge, but I'm catching on. I love to bake sweets for him and his officemates. :)
I agree with you - I never go anywhere without my camera either! I am a photographer of life and I just recently opened my own Etsy shop! I am in love with all things photography - I especially enjoy taking pictures of flowers and retouching them! Fun and beautiful!

Hello, Kelly K here (aka blueyz75) one of the ladies from the profile comments swap. I quilt as well although not so much lately. I like the piecing. Quilting I leave to the ones with longarms. We have a very good long arm quilter. I too can tend to be a computer junkie, here lately the problem is swapbot. As the weather changes and starts to get nicer out, I will be outside more I hope and less of this! I doubt I will totally fade away. Winter is for computers and movies and TV spring and fall and summer are for outside!
