I have been a cross stitcher at heart since my teens. I have tried many crafts but the only one that has stuck with me is cross stitch. I seem to always buy smaller projects around 5" X 5". I enjoy stitching holiday projects. I am always on the look out for christmas ornament patterns and would love to do swaps for them. I like to cross stitch with Sampler Threads from The Gentle Arts. I would love to receive Sampler Threads even if they are partial skeins that you don't use any longer.

It seems as though I am always several years behind when it comes to television. I usually don't watch shows until they are in syndication. I love Mad Tv and Saturday Night Live. My other favs are CSI, NCIS, Burn Notice, and The Starter Wife.

I drive alot so I listen to audio books. When I am home a spend my time on the computer or (of course) cross stitching. Iris Johannsen, Robert Crais, Dean Koontz, Janet Evanovich, and Sandra Brown are some of the authors I frequently "listen" to.

I am still a kid at heart so I love children's literature. I have over 4000 books in my collection. My favs are Dr. Seuss, Where the Wild Things Are, Harry the Dirty Dog, Harold and the Purple Crayon and I Spy Books. I also enjoy other people's favorite books and knowing the story behind why it is so special. I always try to share the stories with my students when I read the book to them.

I have been a teacher for 11 years. I just recently moved into an administrative position. I've been happily married for 10 years.
I love to play golf & tennis.
Love the Indianapolis Colts & Indiana Hoosiers. I also love to play blackjack but don't make it to the boat/casino very often. My family also likes to play pinochle and other cards games. I am a gadget girl. I love getting new gadgets.

I don't consider myself a "picky" person. I find the things I cherish most are the things my friends/family have made for me.

I like jewelry and usually wear more silver than gold tones. Different styles of hoop earrings are what seem to be on the top of my list right now. I also like bracelets.

I don't have a favorite color but usually pick out bright hues of colors.

I like unusual things. Dainty rather than big. Classic rather than trendy. Simple rather than complex.

Really into animal prints right now. My family pointed that out when they saw my Christmas list this year.

I love all the traditional U.S. Holidays. Christmas & Halloween are my favorites. I enjoy decorating my house for the seasons & holidays.

I love the 80's!

I love getting new music. Most of my music library is from the 80's and 90's. I think that is becasue I don't spend the time keeping up with current music and artists. I have to admit I am a Top 40 listener. I can't take credit for having any exotic music tastes, I am a victim of mass marketing when it comes to music. Please feel free to enlighten me with music. I don't necessarily care for country music though.

I love cross stitch magazines. I would love to receive any from the year 2000 forward, especially the Christmas editions.

I have tons of scrapbooking items that I don't think I will ever use. They are like new and I have many different themes. I would love to do a private swap for cross stitch floss/items if anyone would be interested.
