Hi everybody :)

I'm Marjolaine and I'm living in France, in the South (Perpignan, a city near the Mediterranean Sea).

I'm 25 years old and I'm working as freelance corrector and editorial assistant. I really love my job :)

I'm married since 3 years with my geek and guitarist man. We have two cats : a little boy, Pistouille, and a big girl, Cahouète ! We're living in a flat in the city. Our home design is : dark wood, white walls, and some touches of lemon-green, raspberry red and spicy orange. And some kawaii and japanese things.

My favorite season is winter and everything around winter (rain, bas weather, grey sky, snow, fireplace, Christmas, truffles :D, cold, etc.).

My passions : I'm a geek girl, so I like computers, videogames, mangas, kawaï things and Japan culture. I'm an Apple lover & Steve Jobs lover ;) I like retrogaming, cats, shopping too.

I like to realize some made-hand-things (knitting, beads, windows color, swap gifts...) and I love so much to send and receive some letters (by mail or post) and gifts :)

I really want a swapfriend from foreigner countries. I speak french (of course :p), german, english and a very little japanese !

At the best I would like : – a foreigner swapfriend from everywhere in the world ; – a swapfriend from Japan.

And after : that's all "my boom" music (see the names list above), I don't listen specific type of music. But I absolutely love : Feist, Yodelice, Charlie Winston, Dido, Fool's Garden, K'S Choice, Revolver, Louise Attaque (very, very good french band), Noir Désir, Pink Martini, Red Hot Chili Peppers, etc. As a teenager I was a big fan of Spice Girls too :p

Bridget Jones' Diary, The Lion King, Back To The Future, Tron, La Cité de la peur (very good french movie), Titanic, Indiana Jones, Star Wars (but only the 4, 5 and 6th, I promise ;)), Chicago, Geisha, Monthy Python and the Holy Grail (huhuhu, excellent !!), etc.

I don't love too sad and dramatic movies, or too psychologics.

I'm a real sitcoms lover :D : Mad About You, Friends, House M.D., ER, Cold Case, Kaamelott, Criminal Minds, Crime Scene Investigator (but only in Las Vegas), Quantum Leap, Mythbusters, etc.

I try everything but at this time I like knitting and knifty knitter (I have severeal circular and flat looms), and windows colors.

I like also to collect some beautiful and sweet yarns, especially hand-spinned yarns.

I really like to discover and learn some new crafts too : at yet I would like to learn how to hook-knitting, and try to realize some Amigurimis (I LOVE Amigurumis :))).

I would like that the swapper makes me discover his favourite craft.

But especially, my favourite craft is gifts. I really love to search and find some originals and special little gifts which match with person's likes and I love to realize hand-made and originals gifts packagings :)

That's why I'm looking for swapfriends ; that's my favourite craft ;)

Everything from Japan, things with japanese characters (hiragana, katakana, kanjis) like postcards, letter sets. Love too Maneki neko, kawaii and cute things, bracelets, originals earrings, culture geek things, retrogaming things, scarfs, arm warmers, socks, straps, bagstraps, geek accessories, kawaii mugs, stickers, etc., etc., etc.

For an example, as a goodies, I love Rilakumma, Chi's Sweet Home, Monokuro Boo, Hello Kitty, Totoro, etc.

For jewelleries, I like kawaii earrings and kawaii rings (donuts, macaroon, ice, cake). No necklace or hair accessories. I really love jewellery in fimo/plastic which represent some cute eatings, candies (onigiri, cakes, macaroons, ice, etc.). Nothing in gold, I prefer fake-silver (don't need real).

And I really really love these so cute hook-knitted japanese animals plushes : amigurumis !!! – look at this so cute Hello Kitty Amigurumis :

I just don't like Disney or cartoons things.

But in general I really love packages with a few little gifts too (for an example : a postcard with a nice foreign message – french, english or german please ;)) –, a kawaii letterpaper bloc, or one yarn, or 3 stickers, or a food speciality of your country, or a candy, etc., etc., etc.

And I love cute and kawaii Japanese plushes with round eyes :

I love japanese and asiatic food : I'm a sushi and springroll lover !

I love all of sweet and sugar things (cakes, candies, etc.), I prefer sweet things to salt things. But I don't like coffee or tea, I prefer milk chocolate. And I really love pistachio !!

Do I love candies ? Yes, I DO :D ! I just don't like black chocolate (that's too bitter) but I love cakes, candies, and everything with sugar. I looooove candyshops !

I really love to collect some fantasy hand-spinned yarns, with several sorts of thread, with several colors ; I love spinned yarns with a "candy" look or a "hearth-worm" look too :

I just don't like tissues which scratches, like acrylic, mohair, etc. : I have a very sensitive skin. And I hate satin, shining yarns and furry yarns like the brown just below too :

I prefer mellow, fluffy, sweet, big threads and yarns (cotton, fluffy yarns, cashmere, merinos). And for printed fabrics (= tissues), I love retro (vichy, spots), kawaii, spicy, fantasy, flower power of 70's and japanese fabrics. But I don't know how sewing so I can't use tissues alone ; I prefer in nice fabrics hand-sewn things.

My favorites colors :

Spicy-spring-lemongreen, spicy orange, raspberry red, chocolate, lilac, blue-violet, old pink, ice-blue : please see the pictures just above for best ideas ;) But I hate fuschia, some purple- and pink-violets, pale yellow... I prefer spicy and hot colors ! And for colored binomes, I love : – ice-blue and chocolate ; – lemon-green and chocolate ; – ecru, navy blue and ice-blue ; – mix between desaturate colors (ecru, grey, black) and hot colors (navy blue, ice-blue, orange, lemon-green...).

And Christmas colors too :)

My favorite scents :

Natural smells : wet ground after raining / my man :D / fireplace / winter and Christmas smells / chocolate / pistachios and salt butter cakes, mmh :D / Christmas tree / fresh bed sheets / baking cakes...

Others smells : white musc from The Body Shop / cinnamon / orange peel / Nag Champa encents (see above) / rose / fresh and romantic perfumes like "Anaïs Anaïs" from Cacharel / greedy smells (chocolate, gingerbread...).

I REALLY love to receive cards from everywhere in the world !

My favorite postcards : – cards showing your home, country, city... at the best with the name of your home/country/city on the card ; – written cards with a nice message of you (english, german or french) :) ; – at the best, cards with nice used stamps of your country :)
