About Me
NOTICE: I'm not going to be signing up for new swaps anytime soon. I'm fulfilling all my current swaps and obligations, but after everything is sent/received I am taking a bit of a break to focus on school and other things! :)
Hi, I'm Nicole! I'm a college freshman, studying printmaking at a private art college. I love anything crafty, different, interesting, or art inspired.
I love meeting new people and chatting about interests, so if you see anything in common with me and want to swap or just chat, let me know!

I live with my boyfriend (who is a musician) in an apartment in Atlanta. His name is John and we've been together since middle school. We hope to get married eventually. :)
I'm getting used to the big city, because I moved to Atlanta from a tiny town. I enjoy decorating my apartment and being out on my own!
I don't drive, I walk or use public transportation everywhere. It's easier, better for my health and the environment, and I'd rather not deal with the hassle of owning a car in the city!
I have no pets, though I would love to have a kitten, or a few cats, one day.

Books: Jane Eyre (I will add more later, but I mainly love classics!)
Movies: Mostly anything with Will Farrell in it, Big Fish, Eternal Sunshine, Iron Giant, Benjamin Button, Spirited Away, Billy Madison (along with most Adam Sandler movies), Harold and Maude, and more! I mainly like comedies, and interesting dramas!

I love Kawaii magnets as well...I found a sushi set with faces at a campus bookstore a few years back.
Do you like Anchorman...You punted Baxter...and the poor dog has a headgear :P The fight part is cameo heaven. LOL.
I keep getting little tins of candy and then crafting with the tins. Hello Kitty devil with cinnamon hearts and I Love Lucy heart mints are fun and tasty. We should do a swap in the near future. I like interesting candy myself.

I'm a big fan of Art Nouveau as well - I love the lines. Probably my favourite artist from that period is Mucha? But thinking about it, I'm not sure I could name another painter/graphic artist from that period. Hmmm... Looks like the Internet will be my researching friend later today. ;)
And I also love the Katamari series. Once you get past the slightly sadistic madness of chasing things around to try and mash them into your rolly ball, it's all good. I'm also loving Little Big Planet, which has the tiny little cute avatar thing in common.
I laughed when I saw that you like cute food with faces! Me too! I whipped up a quick little avatar-size piccie - it's supposed to be hot chocolate! There's marshmallows in there, I swear - they just don't show up that well at 48 x 48 pixels. :)

I see you came from a small town before moving to Atlanta, it is a BIG change isn't it ? I am originally from a town of 1500 people and my hubby is from a town of 125 people, and now we live in Newport News Virginia...When we first moved here it was scary for me...
If I may ask what is a Blythe doll ? I have never heard of these before . Also what is Etsy as I have never heard of that before either.
