I like making fold-a-note cards, making use of lots of different ephemera(smaller the better!) I'v I love personal art zines, and enjoy participating in swaps. I would call myself a mixed media artist. Right now I'm really into knitting socks, also freeform knitting.

I began doing alot of mail art in the 1990's and would like to start back in this again.

I love altering all kinds of junkmail to repurpose it into either correspondence or zine material.

I also like quotes, especially about travel and Christian inspiration. Not too into anything cute, like bunnies, teddy bears or flowers(but have a real enjoyment of pansies, also pressed flowers.
I've been married for 14 years to a wonderful man that I met through a mutual aquaintance! We go on trips to Vancouver,B.C. at least twice a year and do a camping trip on the Olympic Peninsula in the summer. I'm almost 57 years old and have lived most of my life in the greater Seattle area in the state of Washington. The years I wasn't in the area wwere when I spent a year abroad in France, and did a tour of duty in the U.S.Navy living on the East Coast and ending my time up in Iceland. I also did some travelling in Italy,Germany, Luxembourg Belgium, Spain and Morocco.

I listen to older Christian music of the 1960's to 1990's, as well as rock music of the 1970's. I like classical music along with fiddle music, both which I'm learning of and on to play on the violin.

I enjoy reading fiction and non-fiction, but only once in awhile will I buy a book, and it's usually non-fiction, like a food essay one or a biography/memoir. I like the murder mystery series by Cara Black that takes place in different parts of Paris(reminds me of my time spent there).

I watch is the Food Network channel and the one with sports, also Turner Classic Movies and any other movie on some other station that I've seen before. My husband and I both love commercials!!!
