I'm just your average big gay dad, age 35, with a 12 year old daughter. I'm in college to become an ASL interpreter and my favorite color is all of them... as bright and sparkly as possible! :)

My favorite craft to make is plastic canvas ATCs. Weird right? I've been called worse, honey ;)

kitsch & campiness, glitter & sequins, feather boas, rainbows & yard flamingos, feathery mardi gras masks, drag queens (OBVIOUSLY, lol), Carmen Miranda, being sassy and sarcastic and giddy, nyan cat, weird/creepy stuffed animals, sheep, old black and white cartoons, Pokemon, bacon, pancakes, ihop (even though we don't have one within an hour of us), waffle house, chipotle, cupcakes, gothic/dark/macabre/creepy stuff, extremely hyperbolic black humor, metal culture, non-gory scary movies, sci-fi, wearing black, circus themed stuff, amusement park/carnival atmosphere, those huge carnival swing rides, skee ball, flea markets, Halloween, Cthulhu, kelpies (creepy Scottish water horses), steampunk stuff, one man bands, Shintoism, Hinduism, foxes, lighthouses, felt food, snow globes, show tunes, musicals, the ukelele, marionettes, paper dolls, tarot cards, ice hockey (local college teams mostly) and street hockey (where I always play goalie).

My favorite tv shows are Firefly, Star Trek, ST:TNG and Regular Show.

I listen to Marilyn Manson, Slipknot, Nine Inch Nails (from back when had long hair and creepy videos, not dancing office furniture) and a ton of other stuff that I don't feel like naming right now... but you get the idea. I listen to anything you'd hear at a drag show too, really.

I collect foxes, zines, ATCs and all things Pokemon :)

Please don't send me religious or "inspirational" stuff. I am an atheist, and am tired of these things shrieking and bursting into flames upon entering my home. :)

Sending anything for my daughter will wrap me right around your finger, lol. She loves cats, chickens, flamingos, snakes, tarantulas, sea serpents, Pokemon, Neopets, Littlest Pet Shop, cutsie Japanese stuff, Cthulhu, anything Halloween, monsters, Metallica, hockey, playing the drums, stickers (especially Lisa Frank stuff), reading, pepperoni, pizza, cake, ice cream, spaghetti, strawberries, bananas and lettuce (yes, lettuce). Her favorite colors are blue, medium green and purple.

In regards to ATCs: These are artist trading cards. YOU are the artist. YOU decide what is art. The ONLY requirement for an ATC to be an ATC is size. That size is 2.5"x3.5" or 64x 89mm. That's it. You DO NOT need to use a patterned background, or one main focal image, or embellishments. You DO NOT need to put anything on the back of the card if you don't want to. You CAN use all magazine clippings if you want to. You CAN use a single photograph or a sticker if you want to. You DO NOT need to buy or make sleeves for your ATCs. As long as your foundation is 2.5" x 3.5" or 64x89mm, and you have put something on it that YOU consider art, you have made an ATC. Do not allow anyone to tell you otherwise.
