Hi! My name is Tamera and I'm 23. I live in Georgia with my husband and our adorable kitty. I work at Sally Beauty Supply and I'm hoping to start work on my esthetician license soon. I also run a little etsy shop peddling my handmade jewelry & wares. We're currently living with my husband's family so I don't have the space or time to craft and swap as much as I'd like. I've been swapping for about 4 years and I've met some truly wonderful people through the hobby.

I'm a crafter and creator (especially jewelry, hair accessories, and soap/cosmetics), a make up maven, and addict of all things kawaii/cute/kitsch. I love to cook, read, and participate in a variety of dorky activities like cosplay/costuming and conventions. I also do some modeling in my free time- I particularly like shooting darker and creative scenes. I am ALWAYS on the look out for great props, make up, and clothing items to use in photo shoots. I love the dark and twisted, vintage and retro, and things with an unusual flair.

I'm married to a fabulous man named Zane. We had our civil ceremony on June 17, 2010 and our 'real wedding' on September 17, 2010. I feel like the luckiest girl in the world, I married my best friend and soul mate.

• Harajuku style & just about everything kawaii. - eccentric, bright colors, overly cute patterns and motifs, food with faces, deco tapes, sticker flakes, and everything that goes along with it.

• Alice in Wonderland - I adore pretty much every variation from old school Tenniel illustrations to Disney to darker versions. I collect all thing Wonderland and I love anything inspired by the story. It's even the theme of my wedding.

• Fairy Tales - I adore and collect just about anything fairy tale related. I'm very fond of japanese/kawaii interpretations as well as classic, Disney, and dark/horror. It's a life long love.

• Victoriana & steampunk subculture- Jules Verne, skeleton keys, dirigibles, sky pirates, clockworks, cogs & gears, Victorian & Neo-Victorian fashion, top hats, corsets, & lace up boots.

• Favorite kawaii characters - Zukinhitotude, Kogepan, Deery Lou, Chi Chai Monchan, Choco Cat, Kuromi, Hello Kitty.

• Favorite video game characters - Moogles, Daisy & Luigi, Lulu (FFX), Mira & Tonbetty (Final Fantasy/My Life as a Darklord).

• Pirate, Zombies, Robots - and any blend of the three. I'm not really a ninja girl, I side with the pirates on that one. And I am fully prepared for the zombie apocalypse. I dream about it at least once a week, I kid you not.

• MMmm Sweets! - Dark chocolate! The more bitter, the better. Anything Reeces related, Pocky, Japanese sweets, Chocolate covered peanuts, Cookie Dough Bites... chocolate-y treats are always up my alley but I'm not a big fan of hard candy and I don't like marshmallows, caramel, or licorice at all.

• Blythe clothes & goodies - I collect Blythe dolls so cute barbie sized items work perfectly for my girls and will get hearts and lots of love from me! I am especially fond of re-ment and handmade dresses.

• Baking/cooking & kitchen accessories - especially interesting cupcake wrappers and baking decorations. I love to cook and I'm trying to learn to do it better, so kitchen gadgets, cookbooks, and recipes are always helpful!

• I love SHARKS, owls, turtles, and elephants - among many other critters. I'm also very fond of cats, pandas, koalas, fireflies, snails, hamsters, & bunnies.

• Jewelry making supplies- I love to create things and I'm ALWAYS in need of supplies! I particularly love antiqued brass, cute cabochons, enameled or colored aluminum chain, and interesting pendants.

• Plushies, stuffies, amigurumi- I love making little felt friends and especially seeing what other people come up with. Food, kawaii or fandom characters, woodland critters, robots and monsters... anything you'd like to make for my collection would thrill and excite =)

• Cute make up, such as Eyeko. I'm a girly girl and I will try any good quality cosmetic or beauty item. I'm a big fan of all natural products!

• Video Games - I'm a big fan; my fiance and I collect vintage video games and memorabilia. Through emulation or modification we have just about every game ever. My greatest game addiction will always be The Sims, followed by Neopets. Neofriends are always welcome! My username is "mentalyuncertain".

• Stationary, especially kawaii and indie designed.

• Bento boxes and supplies! I've just started to collect them.

• Tea pots, and tea cups & saucers, especially colorful and cutesey or vitage designs.

• Vinyl toys, Blind Box Toys, Re-Ment... I'm just really fond of toys and miniatures.

• Books! I love to read & I'm always up for recommendations and passed along books.

• Gourmet coffee. Yum, yum! I'm a tea drinker as well but I love to make iced coffee.

• Alice in Wonderland items, or Wonderland inspired items. I need as much Wonderland as I can get my hands on for the wedding.

• Socks! I love cute, patterned, striped, bowed... particularly over the knee and knee highs.

• Anything Hayao Miyazai- I am such a fangirl for his work. I'd especially anything to do with My Neighbor Totoro, Ponyo, or Howl's Moving Castle.

• A Moogle or Tonbetty plushie.

• Something for my fiance, Zane! He collects foreign and older US coins & paper money, and all types of video game paraphernalia (especially vintage and Japanese). He is a composer/musician, loves sweets & candy, he is a donut addict, & his nickname is Monkey so anything monkey themed is great.

• Peppermint, licorice, or cinnamon flavored/scented items

• Christian themed items. It's not a religion that I participate in so I'd prefer not to get Christian items.

• I don't swap Friendship Books.

• I don't like sports. I may live by UGA but I am not a fan so please nothing football/sport themed for me.

I do not have any notable allergies so no worries in that department ;)

I reuse packaging materials whenever possible and I'm always happy to receive a recycled envie/box.

I only sign up for swaps that I am sure I can complete, I will do everything I can to send to you on time. If a problem should arise then I will contact you, but I guarantee you will ALWAYS get your swap.

If you do not get a swap from me then PLEASE contact me before you rate! I will resend if something gets lost in the mail.

I try and rate every package as soon as I get it. I will always contact you before rating a 1. But if you flake, I WILL call you out.

Private Swaps
I generally prefer to do private swaps, especially when it comes to "shopping swaps" and larger valued parcels. I'm especially interested if we have swapped or communicated before, or you have a good rating. I put a lot of effort and time, and often money into my packages and I like to swap with people who share the same standards as I do :)
