I'm a 22 year old licensed Pharmacy Technician in Southern California. I'm currently unemployed (who isn't?), but that doesn't stop me from doing crafty things in between putting out resumes. :)

I'm a Type I Diabetic on an insulin pump & a lot of my time is spent at hospitals or doctors' offices. It sucks but I'm pretty optimistic - five years ago I was dying & now I'm slowly getting better every day.

I love music in any language. I listen to some pop, a lot of rock, & some that can't really be categorized. A shortlist would go something like this:

Lady Gaga, Marilyn Manson, Meatloaf, Elvis Presley, P!NK, Amanda Palmer, The Dresden Dolls, Imogen Heap, MUCC, Dir en grey, Inugami Circus-Dan, Jinn, 1TYM, Se7en, Tarkan, Soler, Die Ärzte, Farin Urlaub, Rammstein & etc.

Alice's Adventures in Wonderland & Through the Looking-Glass (& What Alice Found There) are my two favorite books of all time, (Yes, they're separate books, I don't care.) but I read a lot of other things as well. House of Leaves, Battle Royale, Confessions of a Yakuza, classics like Treasure Island & Dracula, so on & so forth.

I do love the Harry Potter series, Francesca Lia Block is one of my favourite authors, & I enjoy the Looking Glass Wars & Tithe series as well.

No, I don't like Twilight.

The Die Hard series, hands-down. Just below that are the Men in Black movies.

Following those are Beetlejuice, Ghostbusters (I&II), The Addams Family & The Addams Family Values, The Fifth Element, A Knight's Tale, Planet Terror, Inglorious Basterds, Battle Royale, Dororo, The Great Youkai War, Hook, & uh, anything campy & hilarious.

(I also love Star Wars, Star Trek, Batman Begins & The Dark Knight.)

I don't watch much regularly, but what I DO watch I follow pretty religiously. Those being The Mentalist & Criminal Minds (I know, I know.)

Other than that I tend to tune to shows like Iron Chef & Cake boss.

I'll play all different kinds but my favorites are:

Assassin's Creed, Katamari, Final Fantasy, Devil May Cry, Silent Hill, Zelda, Pokemon, Kingdom Hearts & Dark Cloud.

I'm pretty across the board, but I have a few that I stick to. I love card-making - I spend a lot of time doing it & 99% of the cards I send out I've made myself. I also love making jewelry, with a recent emphasis on necklaces.

I'm not a very good sewer & I keep forgetting how to knit, alas.

My favorite colors are bright ones - orange, green, yellow. I also love pink though & while my clothing tends to run more toward a classic 'black, red, white' color scheme, my bedroom is white, cornflower blue, sunflower yellow & light brown.

I can't wear heeled shoes, I don't really like skirts, I love pompadours even though I'm growing my hair out, I'm a huge advocate for LGBT rights & I won't stay silent. ♥
